Thanks Mike . I wanted to put a sports fishing boat in the diner parking lot , not much [ none that I know of ] in the 1/35th scale line so I'm making one . I took an old PBR and I'm in the process of creating a Robolo , Blackwatch Combi type sportsfisher . It'll have twin outboards on an off set outboard bracket . The PBR has a very shallow draft whereas a mid sized sportsfisher has a very deep vee . Absolutely nothing along the line of outboards either .......... well Hobby Fan has a small offering but costs as much as a real boat , not to mention I don't think it's on the shelves yet . postimg.cc/pmBBj0MX] postimg.cc/PpCbBTpP] postimg.cc/Q9vgDw1S] postimg.cc/xXgK8cLX] postimg.cc/4Kdp9s1B] postimg.cc/LgdPwfFb]

Got the Merc's done , sans weathering . Hopefully they're passable renditions of outboards . postimg.cc/7C4JRgFR] postimg.cc/ns19fXZh] postimg.cc/FdWf1wYt] postimg.cc/c6CgP1zd] postimg.cc/7585C3ZL] postimg.cc/f35yg1j3] postimg.cc/bDJrXL3m]

Thanks guys , appreciate the comments . There's a lot of guys on this site that pull rabbits outta their hats . Every one of us has our own modeling strengths ................ and weaknesses . The trick is to work on improving our modeling weaknesses , never throw anything away , accept valid critiques and try again and again . Be proud of you work , I haven't seen one mean spirited narcissistic person on this site which is why I came here . Also why I left the last site I was on .
You guys are very , very cool .....................................

Man o man those motors look fantastic! I've always loved vintage outboards - they were works of art back in the day. You nailed it!

There is a good number of sites where egos get in the way of folks growing in the hobby as well as in keeping model building alive and thriving as a whole. Just sucks the life out of any given community which is why we shut attitudes and inflated egos down quick around here. Glad to have you here with us pal.

I've been absent for a couple of months and have just caught up with this build and I have a couple of questions. 1 Has your local council issued you a building permit for this project? 2 Do you have tiny nano builders working for you? Seriously fella, this is the most detailed and perfect dio that I've ever seen. Your imagination and skill are next to none! It is truly a privilege to be able to follow this build step by step and have you explain the processes and techniques that you use. Years from now when I am discussing the best builds I've ever seen with other modellers, this is the one that will be foremost in my mind.

However Cheyenne, be very careful with boats, cos you know what boat stands for?? Bring On Another Thousand!

Uber sweet modeling cheyenne!! Every installment worth the wait. Amazing how every cose up still looks real, it’s like you must work microscopically so the camera still doesn’t show too much! I’m jealous 🙈 the rest of us have to deal with macro lens syndrome 🤣
