Armornutti, That is me and my one year old GSD Zeus, and exactly, I was not paying direct attention / holding a toy / going for a walk. He is very handsome.. so aggressive and dangerous...yea right LOL. Our boy is Ryker..I'll try to post a couple pix later. He is now 4 and is TERRIFIED if weinerdogs.

Armournutti,
Gorgeous!!!! My previous GSD hid behind me when approached by chihuahuas. Deathly terrified. Zeus is much more socially balanced, friends with everyone (made 3 new buddies today at the vets waiting room). I take him EVERYWHERE with me (well, wherever he is allowed) which I think helps a lot with his demeanor. Loves dogs and people, I swear the closest he gets to violence is trying to lick someone to death. And, yes, he has his own seat in the house too. In fairness, we have 'the dog couch'.

406 Silverado,
Thank you. He's only about 85 lbs, my previous boy was 110. Zeus still thinks he's a lapdog and has an unfortunate habit of not knowing where his elbows land, but thank you. I swear he knows how good he looks and how much he can get away with.

Thank you andreww, good to know that Ryker isn't the only one who knows not where he steps. I think he does but just doesn't care LOL. I think I'm more concerned about some random "Ken or Karen" pressing me about him being " aggressive" . Bad things could happen to me if I'm pushed into that type of situation. Our boy is about 92lbs and once he gets comfy with you your face will be washed. He is a VERY GOOD BOY, we're just very careful. Zeus looks like a GIGANTIC teddy bear dog...I'd hug him .

LOL, he is quite cuddly with people he knows. The rest are suspects, bogyman who needs to be growled at just in case...But once he gets to know you he leans on you, all 110 lb of him and you can't leave without giving him a belly rub

Armournutti,
Zeus is a big teddy bear most of the time. I was quite impressed, the vet was having a puppy blood drive, so we went and Zeus was 'the lobby greeter' not only accepting, but actively seeking a pet from each person that came in, and a sniff and snout lick from every dog. He even loved the mailman that came in!

He even loved the mailman that came in! That is awesome, we let Ryker sniff people, both 2 and 4 legged, he's usually pretty good and is more attached to me or mommy. We do let him be a "guard dog" however he really is more bark than bite. Whenever we introduce new humans we just ignore him, let him sniff and check things out, works well and he has only one guy he isn't sure of...my best friend of 20yrs. Which is odd because he's an animal guy too.
