Has been quite some time, so just taking a few to catch up on things. I'll start with what I built last year... 1/48 B-24...scribed and riveted. Built this for the owner of the property I deer hunt on. 1/72 Arma Ishkra 1/32 HK Lancaster pit 3 Monogram Mustangs, ICM 51B...yellow nose are "escort" for the B-24 above 1/72 Tamiya P-47 1/72 Airfix, Spit and Defiants That gets us up to April...the light went out, and didn't come back on until Dec. (I'll add in some of the other projects, later in this thread) 1/72 Airfix....uhm...whatever it is! 1/144 AFV Cub SeaKings 1/72 Hasegawa Cobra, Huey, and Italeri Huey(doors open) That is that!

Wow! Still up to your incredible standards. Those are all just tremendous builds. You still look pretty prolific to me. I was also going to ask about your hobby room. It was a source of envy for sure. I am quite excited to see what renovations you did to it. Thanks for sharing the builds.

Here's another little project that I've been working on over the last two years... N scale. 2" x 4" I had a grand plan of doing a large HO layout, and decided to start small and try out some things before committing to something big. I made all the rock, terrain, trees and foliage...scratched the bridge and station deck. 1st time ever trying "water"... Still got a lot of people and various details to add, but it's getting close. I did come to a realization....this stuff is way pricier than it used to be....I will NOT be building a big layout!

What a dang SHOW!!! I've definitely missed seeing your work the last year or two but totally get it......life just gets in the way sometimes. The works that you do in the smaller scales really blows my mind and then you throw in that Lanc nose section and THEN the .....railroad & surrounding diorama??!! Just by looking at all of these just about anyone can tell that you definitely have a love for this miniature hobby of ours. Great to have you back in the community and truly inspiring to see your work once more brother.

Ahhhh! Thank you for reminding me why you are always hauling back home many awards at my show every time. Loved that B-24 very much! I started the same kit and I failed the re-scribing attempt miserably so it went back to the shelf quickly. 🤣
It is really good to have you here too as you can see many old buddies of yours are here too.

Thanks a lot, muh dudes! Good to get back into this routine again...at least for now! On to some other things... Back in 2021, I bought me a little boat. She was rough (cosmetically)...I put it in at my home lake, just to get a feel for it, and figure out all the fishing gear (came with trolling rods, down riggers, and all sorts of tackle). Lat Spring, I got to work on it. I had an issue with the warning buzzer...it would not quit. Turned out to be the buzzer itself. Got the new part, and since I had the throttle box off, I decided to replace the side storage console top (carpet was a mess and the wood was rotten. To get that stuff off, I had to take off the dash board....since I had the dashboard off, I may as well replace it too...you know how it goes!!! Fast forward... You know this aint going without some nose art!!! Took it up north for some fishing. Started out trolling Lake Manistee (caught 2 decent pike), and tried jigging for salmon...I hooked a big'n but lost it after it's 2nd 150 yard run. Harbor out into Lk Michigan... Spent the last few days of the trip with the boat in the river at camp. Finally managed to catch a King on the last day...

Ahh, the old "you might as well...." Ya...you know it! It's about that way with every project....I want to do xxx, but to do xxx, I have todo xyz...to do xyz, I have abc... End up doing every 3 letter combo of the alphabet! Which brings us to another Spring project! Wife wanted a garden...in order to have said garden, I had to kill a goat... In seriousness. One of our goats, Kevin, got ill and I had to...bury him. Pooch found a new home...and we now had the space. Pic is during the process of goat pen clean up...goat house already removed, etc. The wife was in a hurry to get plants in the ground, so I did things in ways that were not logical to the way I like to do things...but we did get there! Spring was DRY!!! With plants going...I continued with the porch. Little sitting area, lights, bench... Like every project...there's still a little left to do. That can all be done here and there though.
