I built this around 6 years ago and have been getting the hankerin' to build another set up like this. These are quite fun to put together and it seems like there is always something to add to it along the way. They also make for a great photo drop behind auto builds. Things are always getting switched in depending on what time of the year it is. After I first finished it. The "English is our Language" sign has a joke built into it. Look at it closely: Other humorous signs that have adorned the wall: The Coke machine got added on later and was a bonus item in an AMT Truck kit: The Cheeseburger and fries were just too cool of additions to put in this scene. The bait and tackle decal on the wall was something that I took from work and made a decal from to put a personal spin on things as well as the wallpaper on the laptop being my favorite picture of my wife and son at the beach some time back. Other things that got added were the service manuals & gaskets on the shelf, scratch built wall poster, the broom from Scale Equipment and scratch built light switch next to the door. During December I'll swap out a Christmas tree into the mix just to get a little festive with it:

That’s awesome Joe! Love the No Shirt sign!😂
Was the base scratch built? I’ve been thinking about doing something like this for model photos.

Very, very cool , love it !!! Thanks Glenn. It was a blast to put together. That’s awesome Joe! Love the No Shirt sign!😂 Was the base scratch built? I’ve been thinking about doing something like this for model photos. Thanks Jeremy. LOL. I couldn't help it with the sign. lol The base is actually from this Fujimi kit: I've since found a slightly larger kit to go with that I'll be changing the walls out on to mimick a stand alone car garage.

Joe, if you open the dictionary and look up the word awesome, a picture of this appears.
I love how you have evolved it over time. It does make a great photo stage!

That is super cool, but I have only one complaint. You don't have nearly enough performance stickers on that tool box. LOL

Freaking awesome Joe!! I built one of the old school Fujimi garages last year and I’ve been working on what I’m going to put in mine as far as accessories. Love this.

Oh look it is Joe's garage!
Where is the Dodge in the corner? Was it a '54 with a mashed up door? Do you jam in there? Does your mama scream "TURN IT DOWN?"
Those that know, will know, the rest think I have lost my mind.

What an awesome detailed every changing scene! I'd like to do something similar for posing shots as you have done there. Super fun project I imagine.

That’s freaking too cool! Now you need to do a 3D printed figure of yourself next.

I remember when you built this, it still looks fantastic! I hope you hid a 10mm socket under the toolbox or between the shelf and wall corner

It is awesome to see you pull this out and share it. I so remember when you put this together and how much fun you had with it. You did a remarkable and clever job on putting this together. It just needs a shiny blue Vette on it now.

Man, what an incredibly cool garage, Joe! What a great idea and one that can grow organically! I found so many cool details and I bet you'll add even more to that groovy scene. That's some great scale modeling work, Joe! 👏
Oh, and I like the Maverick dragster, too! 😁

Oh man this rocks! I have always wanted to do a "factory" setting for a photo base of my works in progress, and then a couple displays for when they are done. Way to go Joe!

Great job on this Joe, I like the idea of keep adding bits over time ! I built one of these as a backdrop to my beaten up Christine kit, but kept it basic in case I want to change it to a garage dio ! If you have two of these kits they can lock together to make one big garage, as there a bit tight on space !!
