WOW!!!! Are you sleeping next to this? The last time I looked at forum, you were just looking at sprues. That wood grain looks fantastic. Coming together quite nicely!

Was pretty much all I did all weekend. Only have a month or so left of my building season so have to get it in while I still can.

Well Kyle the decals not only survived fine they look really good! I was mildly optimistic as I’ve successfully used some pretty old monogram decals on a couple nascar kits before. That does look great!! I’m glad they worked!

That does look great!! I’m glad they worked!I was mildly optimistic when I saw them on the paper and they looked fully intact, then totally pessimistic when I slid them off the backing paper and they shriveled up and shrank to about a third of their size, then moderately optimistic when they smoothed out and expanded with many many wipes of a tissue, then mildly optimistic when I got all the water out and they still kept sliding around and silvering, then overjoyed when they reacted to some Micro Sol, settled down, bonded with no silvering and had a beautiful gloss finish.

Geez, that’s nutz. Way not panic. :^) You’d probably have a hard time finding replacements.

Interior is very busy for so few parts. Did the best I could with my limited artistic abilities to make the mugs look at least remotely Bavarian. Should look fine when closed up. Since I did the dash in a woodgrain I made up a simple backplate for the gauge decals. Down to final assembly!
