Not sure if this is the right forum but... didn't fit under tanks, planes, cars or whatnot. Do we need a 'And now for something completely different' forum lol Beautiful kit, went together in a couple hours. Bandai does nice stuff.

Brent - thanks! Fun project. Steve - I had the an entire day of modeling yesterday Reserve - I tried a bunch of new techniques painting him. Artistic license on a subject where you really can't be wrong

I love it! Do the Triceratops next! Bandai also did a Mosasaur. And Wave does a Plesiosaur:

Started with a black base then a coat of very light gray (would have used an off white like tamiya racing white if I had it). Then I dry brushed with humbrol linen and successively darker shades of tan. The last coat was a medium cover with plain old testors square bottle brown. Finally applied Flory black wash. His nails are testors dark anodic gray (lol). And teeth are light grey with a very light brushing of tamiya clear yellow. So... as you can image this was me browsing around my bench and thinking...'hmmm...that might look good'. Super fun project. There's a couple other builds if you do a web search.

Not sure if this is the right forum but... didn't fit under tanks, planes, cars or whatnot. Do we need a 'And now for something completely different' forum lolBeautiful kit, went together in a couple hours. Bandai does nice stuff. Didn't see that statement when you first posted it but I'll be looking into this John. I've seen dino's, sharks and other animals being built not only here but on other forums too. Will see that we can do about that.
