Great progress. Is the laser posable? Not sure if it's the camera but some of those greens look pretty bright.

Thanks John. Yes the hammerhead can be modeled in the raised or stowed position…. plus traverse and elevation. Yeah the greens on the stowage looks brighter here with the photo editing settings that I went with.

Stowage looks great ! I have issues with pictures showing true color shades sometimes as well

Looking real good! I just love it how the stowage can bring colors to the dull paint that we see on modern armors!

Brent, playing with the editing settings to get one aspect look as I desire, often can throw off the other tones, colors, etc. In person, the rucks are much more toned down in color.

Tobi, MERDC on this would look cool, but the FISTV was fielded after MERDC was phased out and they were issued on the NATO tri color scheme. Now an ITV on the other hand...

James, you gotta love those properly tapered and sized AM brass antennas

don't worry Andy, once the weathering is on, the stowage will take on a toned down look to blend it all together...

My only progress worth posting on this one is some crew figures for this using bits of Tamiya, Verlinden, and one from the kit.



and a test fit of them into their respective hatches



Not too much more to do on this one...

I hear ya….and understand completely… Yeah, with all my military experience with radios and antennas in the army, antennas are kind of a thing for me too… plus certain aspects of my time as a cop…

Today I did more work on this during our online AMPS Zoom meting… I finished adding stowage and did detail painting getting this one a few inches closer to the finish line





I need to get this one ready for markings and weathering…

Now that I’m back home and have a few days off before getting back to work, I had some bench time. Yesterday I applied a gloss coat for decals, and today was application of decals.





I just need to do a bit more detail painting, flat coat, then final weathering.

Thanks! Not too much more to do on this track. Although painting the crew figures will take me a few days of effort. I don’t even have them primed yet…🤔

Well, today was more progress inching it ever closer and closer to the finish line. First up I airbrushed on a flat coat…. then I added the antennas, got most of the detail painting done, glued the drivers hatch in the open position, and added the antennas…





I just need to detail paint a few more items, add some tie down cords to the forward antennas, then do the final weathering….

Oh yeah, I got the crew figures primed too… 😉

Today I finished up painting the tracks and got a pin wash applied on the upper surfaces…





I just need to do final weathering and add the antenna tie down cords
