Oh, my goodness! 🤩 That is some incredible scale modeling, Ron. I'm considering the old Monogram 1/24 Bugatti 35 for my first auto model since 1976, which was that same Monogram kit. I will be using this example as a guide and inspiration for my own, smaller version! Beautiful work, sir! Gary, the Monogram kit is peak Monogram. Great kit. You'll enjoy it...also, Open wheel? Shameless plug for another build. LOL Kyle, that old kit is pretty cool. I built it back then and "displayed" it in a big, old glass Tom's snacks jar. When our daughter was big enough to reach it, she opened the lid and played with the model. Yeah. Totaled it. 😄. Lol, ya shoulda seen what she did to my turntable; it was on a cedar chest in our living room, along with the receiver, and she toddled over there and grabbed the tonearm and apparently tried to emulate her Mom's gear-shifting movements with that poor tonearm. Steely Dan's "Gaucho" was on the turntable at the time; we later had to call it "Gougedcho"...some scratches are forever! 😊
Man, Kyle, that resin Pinto Auto Union is kicking my butt. I worked on freeing those exhaust headers; sixteen separate tubes with so much flashing around them. I got them roughly cleaned up and broke three of the sixteen. In fact, I've broken several parts just freeing the from the resin flash. Aye yi yi! 😳
I was planning the Auto Union for the open-wheel GB, but I think that Type 35 might have to be my entry now. I have two Russian (well, Soviet) WWII fighters underway and as soon as I get them closer, I'll begin the Bugatti! 😁

As for the Pinto kit. Fernando’s stuff can be like that. If nothin else, I’d say the monogram Bugatti would be more fun and less stress.

Wow, I just caught up with this. What a nice touch adding all the wear to this racer. I like your style.

This is just sublime! You just can’t use common adjectives for it! My favorite is the treatment over the radiator. I can see the residue of past overheating
