I still can't get over the whole scheme of this bird which to me makes it stand out more. Dude......this is looking GOOD Dave.

I love it!! This camo scheme really is "all that" and a whole bag of party mix. You're also tackling the weathering aspect very well on this birdie Dave.

The light chipping on the awesome camo paintwork is the cherry on the top of this gorgeous bird!

Calling her done. I tried to keep the photos here from kinda repeating, but probably missed some here and there. I hope you enjoy. It was kinda neat to do this camo scheme. It turned out better than I thought it would.
So here ya go. From the Stab of JG54 during the summer of 1943 in Estonia. Major Hubertus von Bonin. KIA over Vitebsk in Dec 43.
Of course in getting that last shot the antenna snapped off the tail mast. Took awhile to fix, but it's all better.
Thanks for following along. This was a fun one! And thanks again to Joe for hosting this great build.
(Not sure which one is next as I'm running late to schedule. Maybe the D-9 as I kinda want to do that for the build. Hmmm.)

Dave ol' buddy, you definitely pulled this build off VERY well and with a camo scheme that I haven't seen until now on one of these. Outstanding workmanship with the painting and the subtle weathering on this one and your efforts are to be truly commended for this. Thank you for being a part of this Group Build with three Fw190's completed during its course.
I've got this one posted up in the gallery pal.

And Joe, there are more to come. I planned on 6, but I don't know if I'll make it that far before the GB ends.

Wow. I am impressed. I think you nailed that paint scheme , combined with an apparently flawless build, subtle weathering and fine details like the antenna wire, I would say you have produced a fabulous replica of this 190. Nice work!

I hear you on the love for the 190 Dave and I couldn't agree more. As far as the end date on the GB, I'm thinking of extending it for a while longer. These birds attract a good number of builders.
