Glad to see you on this forum, lots of good stuff on here and a lot more going on.
Yes I do use Alclad for my metal finishes. I also use Tamiya for most of the basic part finish. I currently only use Gravity for all my exterior finish. I see no need to change 😉

Kyle, It's the easiest and most direct way to get Gravity of Spain paints is through their website. I usually get my order in 3-4 days. Can't beat that, and I've never had a broken bottle yet.
BTW, Gravity of Florida is a completely different company which has a long history of issues with shipping orders in a timely manner.

I’ve heard the horror stories from the Florida company. Good to know about gravity of Spain. I really love trying new paints so perhaps I’ll place an order someday.

Kyle… The best thing about this paint is that it flows well and I have never had an issue with color matching. It’s very consistent. Plus they have a lot of colors. I would check out their website it’s definitely worth your time. I also will say don’t be intimidated by having to clear coat over the base color 😉 it’s like painting a full size car

As for the having to clear over it. That’s ok. I have some experience with splash and scalefinishes lacquer. Both require a clearcoat as well. Not totally outside the realm of my experience.

Guys, I've tried just about every lacquer gloss coat, and had settled on Tamiya's LP9. I was a Super Clear Series III fan but it's usually out of stock every where. But I ran across a vid on AK's new 1K clear gloss and bought it. It's the best I've ever used.
Due to all sorts of health issues, I've stayed away from 2K Gloss clears even with a full respirator and spray booth with proper venting to the outside. So I've never tried any of them out.

Chris, Like You certainly did, I'd go for min choir time, and max at the bench time, and come up with a few reasons why. Of course my reasons have never really worked with my wife in the 41 years we've been married. But it's time well spent, so I'm still going down that path.
As usual your work is flawless, making it that much harder to really be sure if the pics are the real deal, or your build. Actually, I'm betting that your work is just a tad better then the real deal.
One observation is the inboard rear brakes. Every time I see an F1 car with them fitted on, I'm always willing to bet that over heating was an issue with them.

Chris, With each new layer of detail for the engine/transaxle. & rear suspension, your attention to the smallest details makes it just that much harder to really know if I'm looking at the rear deal, or your model.
Now time for a confession of sorts. I do at times look for model builder issues and errors, but there just aren't any that I have seen. Well done my friend, very well done.

Chris, I'm just totally blown away. Paint, decals, and even the low angle of the pics just bring the BT45 to life. I've got a still unopened Tamiya Brabham BT44B just calling my name now after seeing your BT45 Front clip.

No kiddin, this is nuts. The AC tubing, colors on the engine, the metal works, this really is wild! This does look like a heck of a lot of fun. Awesome work, Chris!
