FINALLY received my replacement board in the mail. The online retailer I purchased it from had left for vacation but left no note of that on his website. So after almost a week with no tracking update I reached out. I was then informed he was on vacation. Hopefully we will be back up and running this week.

Very cool! I'd love to have one but I can't afford one and all that comes with it. Crealty has some basic FDM printers starting under $200. They are modular so you can slowly upgrade over time as needs / budget dictate.

Actually the used market is really good as well. Because so many new options are becoming available, it makes it hard to sell previous models. Technically my brother offered me mine at $100 because of this, but I gave him the $150 because I knew all that he had spent on it. Its easily got triple that amount in upgrades.

Would be nice if sellers post they are on vacation. No progress working on mine as I promptly went out of state again. I get home the 18th, maybe I'll be home long enough to do something, but the list of house chores is growing. Got to get the house painted before the rains come.

Was really hoping I would have gotten more than a month of time in before any major issues came up. Unfortunately not. Ive removed everything, changed the board changed the extruder head.. still getting the error. For some reason, the extruder head is not reporting the right temperature. I've restarted the firmware no errors there. Printer powers on. Everything works. But I keep getting this error. Two different boards, two different extruder heads. Everything is plugged in correctly. Cant seem to figure it out. Would have gotten more done this weekend but I wasted several ours fiddling with this damn thing.

That is too bad, where do you go from here?
I am not familiar with the brand, but is there any type of temperature sensor that could have gone bad? My printer has a thermistor by the nozzel, its a replaceable part on my printer.

This sounds as bad as an electrical issue in a car. I hope you can get it squared away.

My printer has a thermistor by the nozzel, its a replaceable part on my printer. This is the part I have replaced I believe. My brother included an extra. He gave me one more thing to test, i think we are testing to make sure I don't have a bad board. Ill be trying to get this done this week

Stuff like this is what pushed me to buy a Bambulab printer. My old Enders, I swear I was working on them more than printing. I hope you figure out the problem soon

My brother is basically just as good as customer support. Plus I bought it used from him.. He also has a discord with members from all over that he gets technical help from. Which is how we ended up testing literally every piece. Only thing left really is the main board because its covered and the only thing we didn't touch. New printer is a possibility.. but a $50 board is better than a $200 printer that might be easier to operate than what I have now, but will be slower.
