Will do! As far as "wishlist" goes, are we to pick specific kits? Or just generic genres from which we build?

I am not giving a wish list. I want it to be a total surprise not something I could or would just go out and buy myself. Whoever I get I plan to look through their threads and sort of decide from there. They may happen to end up with something from their list or may get something that pushes the boundary of their comfort zone depending on who it is. The hard part is that some of you guys have stashes numbering in the thousands so trying to get something you don't already have one (or twenty) of is a challenge.

Exactly. I get whatever and I'll build it. If you have something specific we can let the elf know and see what happens. I always like to be surprised. Some of my favorite builds are kits I would not have ever thought about.

Makes it a bit more personal to look through their builds and say "I would like to see them build an XXX" based on their history but it does run the risk of duplication. The good part is that even if a duplication that they had in the stash for years now they have to actually BUILD it! Of course don't want to go too far out of their comfort zone with anything really weird but something like an armour project for an aircraft guy may mix it up a bit.

Marc I just gave BK a random genre that I like with scale and any specifics.  I still get something I'm interested but will have no idea what

I kind of want my gift to be from the relative who you don't speak with much, but knows you model and they picked up a kit they thought you might like. Surprise!! Something new that pushes my comfort zone. Love this GB.
