Excellent! As for a wishlist, I just want to let anyone who gets me know that I build exclusively in 1/72 scale for aircraft, armor, space and Sci-fi. I don't want someone who will send me a 1/48 or 1/35th scale kit just to see me build it for this Group Build; I don't like being forced to build out of my preferred criteria and frankly; I won't build anything from those scales.
I will send an amended wish list after Thanksgiving if I haven't already done so, so that a more accurate list of what I want and don't have will be known by the person getting me. With 1746 finished models in my collection; the person who gets me will be very challenged and will need all the help they can get to find me something that will be wanted and built.

Sorry for the late response guys, I've been converting for Windows 10 to Linux and this is all new to me. I'm getting it all working again. Roster is updated and the list is added to. I will begin working on assignments this week. I will let everyone know no later than Thanksgiving day.

Beginning to work my way over the list of those that have been good and bad. I have one member who shall remain unnamed that does not wish to gift outside the US, no worries. Does anyone else NOT wish to get a giftee outside the US?
I find that buying the gift from within the country they reside and having it dropped shipped or using Amazon works amazing. Before I assign names I want to make sure we avoid those hang ups. We only have 2 outside the US, so you are not likely to be chosen. But you may.

Yeah it may be too late for whoever got me but I hope they didn't mail it! We can't strike. Its federal law in the US. We're going through contract talks now. UPS got a 15% raise they want to give us 3.9% but our insurance is going up 7% so its almost a loss |

Half the fun is being surprised by whatever somebody else here thinks you will enjoy. I can just go buy myself a kit any time. My local hobby shop closed last month so the closest one to me now is 2 1/2 hours away. I doubt anybody was shipping by mail but even if they do it will just mean a delay. I will have a year to build it before next Christmas so all is good. |
