I hear what you're saying about that canopy masking as that does look daunting to say the least. I'm at that stage now where I've been dreading a certain part of the build with mine and have not been to the bench as much as a result of that. lol. Usually......after I've tackled what I've been dreading I find out that it wasn't that bad in the first place. Hopefully, this is the case for your build here Steve.

Usually, I find the same, not so bad. Not the case here. Lol!  I know there is a masking set a person can get but from what I could tell, it was somewhat crude. Maybe I am wrong though. Either way, I opted to do it the hard way.

Hey Tim, I am still here and yes, still working on it. TC nailed it about the masking.  Unfortunately, it’s a time consuming task that I take in small bites. Overall, I probably have 13 hours in it already with probably 3 more to go. I am getting there though, I see light. 

Rest assured, Dr Smith lives to terrorize the Robinsons yet another day.

Great to see that this one is still in progress Steve. 13 hours in the masking part?? I think I'd be going stir crazy by now.....

Hey there, brother Joe. Stir crazy is right and that is why I am taking one bite at a time and not pressuring myself to rush. And yeah, I can’t wait to get past this because there is more cool stuff ahead!

Hey Mach, glad you found me and the build! I must admit there was moment I thought about shelving it. Then, I pulled the body, hooked up the battery, and I was bedazzled. The fiber optic, the lighting, the paint work, and the decals I made, I was like, heck no, too much work has been done and it is looking really cool.

God willing, I am gonna see this to the end!
