Why does Hasegawa have to do all the Macross stuff in 1/72. I'd love to have them in 1/48.

Why does Hasegawa have to do all the Macross stuff in 1/72. I'd love to have them in 1/48. Honestly I think it has to do do with capital expenditure and production capacity. They went all-in at 1/72, but it takes additional effort in time and money to upscale things. I noticed Hasegawa prefers smaller kits, although their gibungus Queadluun-Rau as well as their Armored Valkyrie seem to refute my claim.

Here is a link to my album covering the show: flic.kr/s/aHBqjBNZc7Going through my photos I noticed Wave is going to do a 1/72 Mospeada Armo fighter. Could a Trad be next? Moderoid continues their Patlabor series with the Brokken and Python. They are really closing up the gaps that Bandai missed the first time around. And the Moderoid Cruise Chaser Blassty looks fabulous. I hope they do an Areld.

Oh wow Real G, in that kimono you look like you just walked out of a samurai movie! Very distinguished!
And Super Average Gunpa, thanks for the photos!
I'll be working though all those photos, I've got to get out there some day!

Nice shots, Neal! You got stuff I missed like the Plamax Guyver!! Can't believe I missed that. The PACV-01 is cool, too. I've never seen that before. Looks like the LCAC's little brother. Thanks.

Thanks for the pics G and MS-06. Neal, the two pics of the display floor overall make me want to be there so badly!
(I thought I commented yesterday. Used to think it was disappearing posts, coming to realize it is my disappearing brain)
