Well, as you might have guessed from the topic title, I have got a Dremel (you might not think that it's that exciting, but at 14, my budget isn't that big )! Anyway, I got the Dremel 4000, and after testing on an old model ( my little brother's - he let me do so) It seems like it will be very useful and fun for modeling and small projects in general. Plus, its pretty damn cool . -oliver

Hey Oliver- I think I got my Dremel tool at approximately the same age and I still use it. It is 32 years old now! :-)
I'll be interested to know how it works for you- since I am about due for another.
Good tools will be around long after any kit!
Nice SU-122 avatar BTW!

Steve I have just begun testing, but it seems like it is very good so far (I have tested sanding bits, the mini engraving/drill, and the wire brush). It has gotten 4.7ish reviews on all the sites that I checked, and it looks to be very god quality. It also has 100's of accessories available, (although I am going to a hobby store tomorrow, and wont have very much $$ for a bit ). Here's some more pics of the SU (I made it a few months ago): -Oliver
