Superb work on that building. Great and easy idea with the roof. (I have to try a building by myself...)

The painting process is so easy anyone can do it with the technique i use. First up do not seal the plaster finish as the filler needs to soak up the paint. Right i start by painting on a well shaken mix of Mig Neutral Wash. Just paint one coat over the whole piece. You will notice that the filler absorbs it really well and that even without any further work this leaves a nice look to the stone,s. But we dont want to stop there do we. Next up i mix up a well diluted wash of Mig yellow sand pigments with water. This is then flowed into the cracks of the wall.I have left it out in certain areas near the bottom of the wall as this part usually looks a lot darker in real life with grime and dirt. Next up when dried with the hairdryer i mixed some very light sand pigments and water to the consistency of a filter and flowed this over a lot of the wall including the actual stones and repeated it in random sections drying in between. With that done and some pin washes of Mig dark wash to some of the joints near the bottom the wall was done.On this paticular old and dirty wall no dry brushing and highlighting was needed for a convincing finish. With a figure added for scale this looks just how i wanted it to.Hope this has helped those who may want to try it.

Nice SBS on the stone wall Andy, very effective combination of techniques and mediums. Look forward to seeing that Tiger make this its home if you decide on that route.
