Hey MSCer's!!! I will get this out straight away.... It's Chris's fault!!!!OK, with that said onto what he is actually being blamed for!! "Where there is a will, there is always a way".!! I think this statement helps to personify this project. Last night whilst trolling on FB...ummm, Mr. S, tagged me in a great picture of an old abandoned truck on some farm, somewhere. So, the inspiration: For Discussion Purposes OnlyI think you are beginning to see the allure! Kind of ties in with the title, eh? I have seen plenty of just about all sorts of things growing out of abandoned items but this one is rather interesting to me. Oddly enough, after a bit of searching last night, I came up with another aid to the project..... For Discussion Purposes OnlyNow at first glance I thought this was the same truck in both pictures...and very well could be I suppose, however the tree is different the surrounding are different (yes I know it's a different direction..LOL) but the power line is present and other qualities are strikingly the same. Same or not? Maybe the first could be a good photoshop of the second......who knows? Not really concerned as it really doesn't matter in the larger scope of thing....LOL!!! If it is not the same truck, I would almost venture to guess there is some strange Dodge Disease out there!! With all that blah blah out of the way, I knew I had something similar in the stash. The Kit: Oh yeah, it is that old! A friend gave this to me a while back and figured I would end up doing something with it and/or it's parts.....it will work!! The truck in the picture appear to be of the Dodge variety and of course the kit is a Chevy....again.....LOL, not really concerned!!!! Here is a couple of quick views of what I will be working with or not, judging from the pictures, since there is not a whole lot left of the trucks. Yes, a lovely shade of dark red plastic, almost maroon!! So there will be a considerable amount of.........body work to be done and then I will also have an appropriate base to construct along the way. I am not looking to replicate either of these photos to a "T"...LOL, but will do my best to keep the basic idea of it all!! As always, I thank you for stopping by and keeping me company for a while!!

Thanks Bill! glad to have you along for the ride!! I too Luigi, tree throught the front as well as the roof!! Thank you! Hi ya G!! Happy to have you here as well!! This kit has the relief cut for a sunroof. In at least the second picture, the opening looks rather square or close too. If nothing else it will aid in getting the roof opened up!! I might get started tonight on chop chop chop and some assembly. Thanks for having a peek!!

Oh yes, please count me in!
I am so confused... should I hit the 'Smite' button on Chris' because it is his fault OR should I hit the 'Exalt' button because he is my hero now? LOL
Can't wait to see how it comes out!

LOL...Yeah, I'm a dope!! Always looking for something to build, you just happened to "poke the Tiger" and move things along!! I'm good with the PS one too! The long grassy stuff and the extra branchy stuff!!! Thanks Btw!!! Hacked a bunch of things last night, like the driver's door and the backside of lower panels /fenders to prepare for some rot and such! Still working out the tree being installed prior to paint!! All good, as it's all part of the FUN! ;D Hacking some more tonight and then a few pics.

LOL...yeah PS all the way but still looks the part!! OK, got to play a bit with some sharp toys and always seem to make a mess.... And how she sits waiting for me to work the so-called suspension...or what ever will possibly be seen.... No, the black is not any weird pre-shading, it is the remnants of the lighter I used to bend, melt and wreck some things!!! A little more touch-up chopping and weed through some parts I will be actually adding!! Moving forward!!! Thanks for stopping in to have a LQQY !!
