Good evening, Some time since I have posted anything - work, auditors etc seem to have got in the way. The RRF figure has progressed to fully primed, but I needed to do a little something as a "keep the finger in project". So here he is. By no means anywhere near finished, but just to prove I am still at it, I present ......... As ever comments welcome and I will try to keep this one updated to the end. DF, this one will have blond hair Tim

CB & DF, How dare you suggest that I change my mind, socks & Unde...... ! ;D But trust me this time. What you see at present is step 2 of about 10 stages. Some of the colours used begger belief. For instance, Citadel Catachan Green is one of colours used as a wash. Along with scorched brown, light flesh, german cam black brown, german cam orange ochre, golden yellow and varicose mixes of said colours Tim

T, Gary & Chris.S,Thanks for your support and comments. I am pleased with how the blond turned out, but have to say it looks better in the pictures as opposed to real life. It might be the ambient light I am viewing the piece in, but it may also be me expecting to much. PaulThanks, I am sure you know my reasoning. Keep it as tidy as possible as white over red and other combinations of competing colours can only lead to more work in the long run. It also helps to slow me down and use a little more thought. My slap bang wallops over the years have tended to end up hidden away in the darkest of places - out of sight and mind. More soon, Tim

Thanks C & D Just one question Cap'n Nemo, how did you know I was once a ginger? Not much done on this one since last posting but a small update on the shako and its protective cover. Considering the route taken with washes etc, I am quite pleased with how it has come out. It have rather a pink look to begin with..... As ever, comments welcome and hopefully more soon. Tim

Good evening, Small update. Commenced work on backpack and load. Started with the bundle of wood and ax on top of the blanket roll. Light coloured item is the axe shaft - head to be painted & added. Quite pleased, looks like it should I think. Hope to have this one finished soon - four other projects waiting and maybe more additions in the pipeline, fingers crossed Tim
