Hi Luigi, I had this sparebox steering wheel and some extra spokes were easy to add. Now it looks a bit odd but once painted/rusted it will be convincing enough (let's hope so.).
Best regards ! G.

I thank you for the comments gents ! Wout, no my friend, I did this while wearing my Visors ! Anyway, this is what I did this evening. I flattened the wheel which is necessary (see pic below). Also two supports were added, still have to glue small stuff... Best regards ! AG

Luigi, I don't think so fella. More wheelbarrow boredom now. Extremely bad weather for the Belgian builders today : dark, barely daylight... The thing was first sprayed very light in satin black, then two light wood tones were applied. More tiresome episodes coming up !

guy i feel your pain,British builders dont have it any better. I was supposed to be digging out the front of a property today on a track machine,(digger) It was making more mess than doing any good.Hopefully it will be better tommorow. Or i might do better with your wheelbarrow and a shovel.Great little build.

I like it. Makes me want to build one. These little pieces are time consuming but well worth it in the end.

Tiresome? TIRESOME? Guy, I can assure you, this is without doubt, the MOST exciting, edge of yer seat, rivetting, thrill-a-minute, eye-opening, roller-coaster ride of a wheelbarrow scratchbuild I have EVER seen lol Great work fella....gonna look superb next to the Admiral.........with all them chickens everywhere and the goat in the back of the car lol ;D ;D, it must be the first wheelbarrow scratchbuild you've ever seen too ! ;D ;D Thanks Dicky ! Andy, that says enough, you live in GB ! Man that must have been quite a muddy mess then, working with a tracked digger while it was raining cats'n dogs ? Thank you Chriss ! Noname, you're right, this is quite satisfying, it's more fun than building an expensive highly detailed kit. Multicam, Luigi wasn't here I'm afraid... belair, sometimes a small diorama item like this wheelbarrow can pull the viewer's attention away from something less good lol ! spud, thanks mate, there are beautiful wheelbarrows in 1/35 scale on the market, this one will remain the only one. Molding is a speciality I don't know. I'll stick to building and painting... Steve, thanks ! The wheel was made of a steering wheel that came out of a half built truck of a friend. Today I started the weathering part of the little woodie. This is just the first stage of course, more effects will follow later on. I brushed on a heavy wash of Raw umber oil paint, thinned slightly with mineral spirit. After a strong coffee (Jiiiihaaaaa!!!) I started removing the oil paint again where necessary. Best regards ! AG
