Anything works here .Your wife , dog , truck , home town , neighbors yard ...... ....a stump ? I took out this stump last year and this horse shoe was inside one of the roots . My house was built @ 1890 and everyone had horses back then . I 've dug up about 20 horse shoes around the place .

Hey thats pretty cool! My house was built in 1889! Old Farm house, not much around me but corn feilds. Havn't found any horse shoes yet, but I dug up a tree stump and found an old whisky bottle. I also know where the outhouse was located. Might be all kinds of neat stuff down in that pit!

Big John , I've had a couple of treasure hunters looking around my place for the ole out house hole but they havent ever found it . You found a whiskey bottle ? The hole where this stump was has a couple beer csns in it now ....maybe some future treasure hunters prize ? Nothin but empty corn fields this time of year ?

Ummm, yeah, that's it. Forget how to spell it when you drink to much of it. And yeah, the corn fields are bare this time of year, but we all know next year, it will be another corn field.

Neat find...never know what you'll find when you dig around! Of course there's nothing here of note...my neighborhood was scrub mesquite and desert until 1999.

Chris
You can here too and the penalties are not inconsiderable. This one, however, is all legal shmeagle with the paperwork and tax stamp kept in a safe place by yours truly. It does not go bang it goes pfft as long as you use subsonics and is a joy to shoot.
Regards, Mark

Andy , i remember that pic of your house ..........looks great man . Especially in the Panzer gray ............... Nice family pic . Mark , i bet you see some of these around your place . I took this pic last week ? tThe Cow and calf were in my apple trees munchin around . They wandered in after the first snow . I sent the dogs to scare them off . I dont like having them get so used to hanging around the house .

Can't say as I blame you, I'd not want them around either they can go from zero to ultra mean in about .2 seconds and be awfully good at kicking your head off. Haven't seen any of those yet but it's probably just a matter of time, they usually hang at higher altitudes. It's rife with deer and coyote tho, and a time or two I've found tracks that look suspiciously like black bear. Can't shoot 'em as it'd be too dangerous, houses all around us so it's keep the dogs in at night and don't go out after dark without a bright flashlight and an energetic pistol (not the one pictured earlier).
Regards, Mark

The photo does not due the actual view justice. The sun spike was a brilliant column straight up. This was taken in a local food store parking lot a couple of days after that |3itch Sandy ripped NJ a new one. Talk about extremes...

My son (little John) shot this last week during youth gun season. 100+ yards with a shotgun with rifled slug barrel. He's happy as long as he has meat to make deer jerky with.
