Well November was crazy for me, with time in hospital, out in time for Thanksgiving, and my birthday on the 24th. I also learned that I had one an auction for a kit I was chasing for a year, but either lost on ebay, or LHS didn't stock it, I'm sure we all know the drill. Well I got it, a Hobbyboss M1070 & M1000 HET Transporter. and I think it was in October I won my other hunted kit, by Bronco Models the "Buffalo 6x6" mine-sweep vehicle. I have actually served on one, and serviced several of them at my last duty station; to bad I lost my digital pic card & flash drive of photos. Any help or guidance on these kits, regarding builds etc, or links would be greatly appreciated Bill

Yes they are popular kits to some, and unwanted by others. Some of the smartest advice imparted to me from a few that I somewhat respect (usually trophy winners) in the hobby and local club members as well: It's a Hobby; try to ignore the b/s pressure from others about what you should build Build what interests you and your comfortable with; I've done that and essentially screwed for it... So I've stepped outside preferred builds, and "comfort level I now intend to follow another piece of advice: Build For YOU... the hell with everyone's opinions; they will always have one one, and something to say as well. Try to always go one step further, but with same level or better then what you have built before. Both these kits will challenge me, due to paint schemes, weathering (which I suck at), and PE.. I've never used PE before, and both these kits have such. And I recently found that Lion Roar makes the correct kit for the buffalo, and with SLAT ARMOR CAGE as well... must take time to consider this now, or possibly build one with, and one without. So anyone that might have some guidance, or links, intel on the aforementioned, it would be greatly appreciated Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays Bill
