The Idea for this one is simple knocked out and Abandoned some place in Iraq or Afghanistan, the Engine will have been removed for spares over time so the engine bay will need to be made this will be my biggest Etch job to date but i don't need all of the etch for this one. I mainly want the fenders and storage bins , there is some detail parts that will be used tough. well most of it and just to Give an idea of where it is i have this chap on the way Ill also be using Fruils on this once Armor models has them in after Christmas

Well i made start on the Motor compartment its not Accurate ish but im happy with it so far. the wiring on the sides in the fighting compartment is just so there is something to be seen trough the holes

Looking real good... hell yeah it looks pretty accurate-ish!!! LOL Let's make a deal... I will raise your karma each time you use up the entire sheet of PE. So you have a potential of getting 11 extra points. Thought I'd help to make things more exciting, right buddy?

starting with the Darkest of the rust tones i laid down a base and the other tones after that were sprayed randomly mostly around raised details.

engine is reference to give me a ball park Steve its by no means accurate but if it looks good its good enough. the next part ill more or less wing it but i have seen some nice pics to guide me along the way and thanks for following guys

they spray fine out of the bottle but are a bit on the runny side for the the hairy tool. i have the life color set also and tbh there isn't a lot of difference between them but the LC paints and more brush friendly.
i like both tough

Alighty. Added 2 coats of chipping fluid letting each coat dry before the next. Then i mixed up a bluish gray and let that sit while i clean the ab out, once that was done some warm water and stiff brushes and rubbed around to get some chipping. once that was dry i went on added some streaking with AK products and Pigments Detail painting is done with Vallejo paints, And some close ups of the Finished engine comp
