mmm...question for the bosses: I'm doin' a base for my Elefant, now I know that technically the Ele isn't build on site but the groundwork is...so my question is: (when it's finished ;D) is it an allowed entry for the MoM?

Good question Wout's. I know the Ele was built and blogged on the old forum correct !! I don't see a problem as long as your blogging the base and groundwork here.
So unless anyone objects, I say go for it. I will check with the other mods and see what they say as well.

Why do we not get to see the votes on MOM?

Andy, once the voting closes all members can then see the votes/poll. I tried to work around that but as the Admin, and the one who starts the poll, only I can see the votes before it closes. This works ok in that no one person can stay the voting. I do hope that all members who do enter the MoM do it for fun and not just to try and win a free paint set.
Also if all goes well this year there may be some additions to the MoM next year, we will have to wait and see.
For all members, please keep in mind that the MoM for for you the member to share your work and just have fun as you already do on the forum. This feature of the forum I can remove if I see it's becoming a problem or problems arise due to members abusing or stirring trouble for any reason.
Keep in mind that I started this forum for us model geeks to have a place to post our models and have FUN. I just don't want it to turn into many other forums that are now un popular.

i dont think it was a mistake its been like that since i think month 2 but i taught thats how you wanted it.

but u do get a quicks glimps of the result oncet he vote it closed but only for like 2 seconds

Yep thats all i meant Rob. I have never seen any votes after it closes. I dont want to stir things up and i dont even enter it but just curious as to it being said you see votes after it closes but i never have. Just a question really,as it says you can see at end.

No prob Andy, I'll change it next time round. I know you we're stirring things Andy. I just want to remind people of it. I know from a couple of other forums that some people, mostly the ones who did not win, will complain. I just want the forum to stay a fun place, as it is. All the members here are fantastic and I wish I could sit and talk with each and everyone of you.

I've made a note and will open the next poll for all to see, even before it closes.

ah, Andy beat me to it ;D. I wanted to ask if we could know a top three, like you get in - say - F1 or so. Like you say Rob it has to be fun. And those who would complain because they didn't win don't get it. But I don't think we have currently such folks in here ^^
