As you probably would have expected I'm in for this one ;D
This is a very nice kit and fun to work with (though I had some issues with it as well). Have you made a choice on which tactical number you are going to depict?
Cheers

Will you use a wheel mask to paint the rubber?
I like tigers with steel whells, lol

wheel masks sure make the job a little easier...I used the Quick Wheel mask and made it much more fun ;D looking at the decal sheet is a good idea mate, since there are some different building options in the kit (different exhausts and so on) and for some extra reference this site is very useful: www.tiif.de/now where's that next update? Cheers

Hiya Spud, nice work so far
At the time I built the '100' Friul didn't have the initial tracks yet, so a Tiger connaisseur mentioned MasterClub resin tracks. I used them and I must say I was surprised in a positive manner: they need a little clean up and assemble faster than Friuls. And - unlike Friul tracks - I needed 96 links per run, just like the real deal.
Anywhoo, no matter what choice you make, it'll be great, pretty sure of that!
Cheers

i ordered the Frulis 27+9 shipping so 36 euro not bad i supose, well got lots done today, i finished teh back plate. jack had some pe wing nuts.. Like ima put them on.. I left off the Exaust's until i have them painted Front plate track rack and sides put on, aswell as a little battle damage. had the Tamiya Engine Maintence crew in my stash so i whiped it out and wangeled in the engine, wasnt hard to fit just needed to remove the lugs, altough the fit of the sides and back were not the usual tamia shake and bake i needed to do some choping and filing. happy with my progress on this so far
