Cheer Rob, they are great little kits and really don't take long to build which is what I like! I will end up getting the whole set as I have more Shermans planned! Thanks for the kind words!

Rob, seeing you build the 1/48 Sherman would realy boost the 48 scene so you should do it ASAP

Dicky It is a nice compact scale its great as it has the detail and the pracitcality I can get bored really easy with a 1/35 kit such as dragon yet a 48 kit has the speed and you could add the detail. I do wish they would do a lot more modern as only the HMMWV is out. Airfix have a lot of modern British stuff to come including the Jackal and another thing that appealed to me is the fact you can replicate a lot more "tank battle " dioramas without needing an extension on ya house. The final point is obviously you can mix it with aircraft so the diorama of a p-51 chasing a Panther down the road is possible... Now come on Tamiya extend your range Thanks Prof it's a gem loving every minute spent with her

1/48 has the right size for an armor, not to big but still pack with details, and not to small which sometimes make harder to build.

Well I tried to airbrush a lighter shade as part of colour modulation and it is hardly visable, you can see it just as much as you can see thin air! Nevermind I will try again tommorow.

Something like that Dicky but it came out a lot better on the 62 I did a few weeks ago. At this stage I was hoping for it to be noticed lol
