Good Day to All
Makin this short and sweet, times a wastin. ;D
Spud i'm leaving the prototype dark yellow so no need for camo at the training school and that just leaves the L/48(V).
Freak the disk is factory "Ambush". Those you see that are covered with spots or brush strokes I think were crew applied on units that were already in the field.
Thanks to the others, got to get back to the bench,Times a wastin Tony

The lower hull camo didn't show through the screen very well so I sprayed the screens as best I could with a little green and red brown. Here's what we have so far And this one is next I've got to go find a scheme for it now. Tony

Hold on a minute guys we've got a man here with a problem and he has priority. Yep Spud every set does that to a degree it's normal. I lay them out on a flat surface with the guide horns up and gently bent them back the other way. They're soft metal and the wire is also soft so it's no big deal, just be gentle when putting them straight again. I think with the wire being a real snug fit is what causes it. I like it snug so it don't fall out "Tartan Plaid" NO WAY jackwagon Every rivet counter in the world would be on my case. ;D You people are the only guides i've got around here and I can tell by the tone of your voices when i'm on the right track. Thanks Tony

Well Boyz I think i've found the third scheme. It's a hard edge which would be nice if I wanted to spend all that time taping it off and I don't so it's will be a soft conversion. I'm thinking it will still be different enough to get by with. Going to be down right hot tomorrow maybe a record breaker they say Thanks my friends Tony

Sorry Tony, been busy the last couple of days so didn't get back to this since you asked for my opinion...I like the camo on the screens as you've done it, looks the part to me! Look forward to seeing the 4th member of the team get its paint work done.

That's alright Bill, like Patton said about Rommel "I read your book". ;D I figured you were asking because you liked the screens painted. Now get back to the books and study Tony

Number four is painted. On this one the Green and Red Brown is on Yellow and not Green on Red Brown. There's some touch up to do like the skirt hangers but i'll do that tomorrow. I was going to use LifeColor paints on this one but with the very small needle in the air brush it kept drying at the tip no matter how thin or air pressures from 10 to 20 psi. The Tamiya went through smooth as silk. Hope you like it or i'll just die ;D Tony
