This is very serious impressive work so far! You have been bookmarked. Looking forward to more of this! I like how you've added the caveat "so far" ;D ;D

Sorry for the long delay between updates - my new job has slowed down my build-speed even more ... After having taking several steps backward by removing the horrible Italeri running-gear, I'm pretty much back where I started. Dry-fit of the Tristar replacements: Idler-wheels don't fit very well - not surprising as the Tristar set is intended for Dragon and Tamiya, so they're held in place with Blu-Tack. All the mounting-lugs had to be sanded off, as well: I've glued the inside half of the return-rollers in place - I'll leave the outside ones off till after the tracks are fitted. Although the Tristar mountings for the return-rollers are much more detailed than the kit parts, I didn't bother fitting them as they will be all but invisible. Less delightful is the fact that the drive-wheels don't fit the stub-axles particularly well. They're obviously intended to be moveable, but the axles don't fit well enough to allow that...more Blu-Tack! So far this kit has proved to be a steep learning curve and I've learned a lot - hopefully enough to avoid at least some of the pitfalls next time I try to rejuvenate some old nail (of which there are plenty in my stash...) Cheers, Dierk
