Thanks for the update and valuable info. Yeah Terry covered a lot in his review and build which will help a lot of us. Gonna add this build to the review John.

Bill, Thanks for looking in Bro. It's a very nice kit, and others might fair better with it than this ol farm boy with big fat finger. LOL
Yes Rob, Terry's reviews are a must for this one!

John I was going to leave the motor out too but have to have it in there. Be very careful of the belt/pullies, mine broke in three pieces when I carefully removed that part from the sprue tree. Also the mount/bracket on the tranny is too tight to fit in the hull, needs trimming. I think Terry covered that part.

Hey John, good to chat with you on the phone last night. Don't leave us waiting too long until you get back to this. Can't wait for that next project, should be very cool.

John, don't know if you glued the bed and sides already. I added woodgrain texture to mine, looks better than the smooth sides. I also added some bolt heads. Pics on my site.

Rob, your wood grain and bolts look great. I'll have to look into that. I'm really thinking of a tarp on mine just like the prototype picture on my first page.

I’m finally getting to a point to where it feels like I’m making progress. I gave the out side surfaces of the cargo bed some wood grain texture with a scribing tool. Got the front sprockets done, and just enough of the engine that will be seen under the cab. The rest of the engine parts will go to my spare parts box. Made a start on the cab, so far, the fit is good. The seats are some what of a pain. The only thing that holds them in is the single center support on the front. I had to tape the cab together to insure that the seat backs fit against the back wall. I’m also in the process of cleaning up the magic tracks.

Nice progress John. I too am doing some work on the cab. I'm thinking of opening, or removing one of the square vent flaps on the front !! I'm leaving the side glass off, what about you? They are waaaay too thick. Maybe some thin clear plastic in that area. oh yeah, nice wood grain dude. Have you figured out that PE and rails for the sides of the bed ?? Instructions really don't show how, where etc.

Thanks for the comments Bill, Dicky, and ER Got some paint started today. I need the paint the cab interior so I can get it closed up. Going to try Acrylics on this one and I'm loving what I'm seeing! Also tried chipping for the first time ever, I'm happy with some of it, still need practice with that one. Good thing hardly ANY of it wont be seen once it's closed up.
