Thankyou guys for your great comments! I see DML is going to release a new kit of this in April. Tony lee Really? I wish that happened when I did the Mark IV, would really love to see a good one of that. But isn't that the way it seems to go Tony! Her's a couple of progress shots. After I took these I decided the right side had too much rust so some has been removed with thinner, as the oils take a few days to fully dry. I'm liking the subtleties of the white wash here (accidental of coarse ); now I think I know why Mr Rinaldi loves them so much! More to do! Thanks again for dropping in! Cheers JT

Hi fellas I'm pretty much finished with the oils, except for maybe some oil spills at the end. Now I'm using pigments, some wip shots: I like to take shots after a painting session, to see how it looks. The camera can really show things up, good or bad. Cheers JT

That's a good practice JT, one I do as well. Camera never lies! (Although I think it is susceptible to bribes on occasion... ). Pigment work is giving this one some nice character!

Hi guys and many thanks for your great comments! Hi Gary, usually I make a slurry from pigments and white spirit and brush it on. When dry it looks very rough so I move it around and feather the dry pigments with a dry stiff paint brush, before adding fixer from AK Interactive or Mig. The fixer is dropped on from a paint brush allowing capillary action to spread it through the pigments. Some more progress shots, slmost finished: Cheers JT
