I let the N. Africa GB get away from me so i'll just post it here for your amusement. It's surprising how much you can get done in two days with a nice kit. Rainy Day here Tony

That does look like a nice kit!!!!
I have yet to build a broncho kit. That may change as soon as their new jeep hits the shelves.

My goodness guys I just got this posted. I been researching color and all I found was exterior colors also that the earlier stuff had aluminum painted interiors, later, was white. Nothing covering running gear hardware or equipment, radios and such for British tanks. This thing is so open front to rear it sure would be nice to know what paints I will need. Thanks for the info if you have any Tony

Hi reckon Richards spot on with his advice. The MAFVA link is my bible and who am I to argue with Mike Starmer LOL. He does say interiors were white from mid 1940 apart from 'interior surfaces of AFV hatches and engine flaps that would be exposed when opened'. If in the desert Light Stone No61 or Portland Stone No64 are ok I reckon, depends on the date and local 'commands'. Early '42 single base colour with the option of a single disrupter like Dark Slate BS34. This backs up these two pics that seem to show the Bishop had a white interior. Hope they help? I have better but I can't post them here sorry and they are almost definately white inside. I can PM them. Italy Sept 1943 © IWM (NA 7260)North Africa 1942 © IWM (E 17435) Smudge

Bill if you can step out of the zone so can I Smudge as far as i'm concerned post away. My first British venture and i'm a blank sheet of paper. ThanksTony Tony I haven't seen the Bronco marking options but the box art is based on S32941 a Bishop of A Battery, 121 Field Regt RA, 23rd Armoured Bgde, Libya November 1942. it looks much better with the stowage and sandgbags? © IWM (E 19485)The artist as seemingly added the figures from another picture from March 1943. © IWM (NA 1029) Barry at Armoured Acorn as the disrupter on S32941 as slate No34 www.armouredacorn.com/Refs-%20Thumbprints%20&%20Images/NCVM/NCVM%20Part%2026%20(Late%20Desert).pdf. Check it out his site is a great resource. The figures from Bronco's 17pdr Pheasant Crew might be adaptable for your kit and I can photograph the sprues if you wish? Hope that helps? The Archer is more my thing but I might have some colour pics of the engine compartment/transmission of a Valentine it would be the same Smudge

Rolling right along Tony! I don't doubt the parts complexity on this kit...especially since the Archer kit that it's related to has over 1000 parts!

Well I think today I may know why not many people have built this kit. I've spent six hours on the gun and it's not finished yet. Maybe tomorrow Tony

The sights are a killer with so many tiny parts. I don't think another hour will do it ER.
