Hello all I have spent some time on a shelf queen of long standing. She has been around for 5 or 6 years and now's the time to get it finished. It has the Aber etch kit and i suppose it's around 75% complete. I'm hoping to make it look tired rather than destroyed, so all the tools have gone and various brackets are left loose etc. I may have it in paint in a week or so. Bill

Thanks guys, yes it is rather large. jackwagon the shelf where this queen sat is pretty huge, its the one I put up for my 1/35 dora......which is not started yet. So that's where all the queens hang out. Where dora is going to live is anyone guess mate

TRM thanks, yep im sticking with this and seeing through til its done! When its done I'll be following you down the italeri pt route.
Sollie Sorry I didn't take any pics when I built the hatch details. I thought I might do grey, which had been over painted yellow. Then I want it to look like it just sat and got old.........the kit is a static, why tamiya don't do em all as statics as well as radio con I don't know. I think I'll have the turret hatch closed and the drivers open with a converted crew figure dressed in modern clothes looking out. I can't be chewed building an interior, so its going to be hidden!

Thanks Guy,from you that's praise indeed! The etch set has to be seen to be believed, every external detail is there, and the hatch mechs do lock and unlock. I only had the resolve to do one, then had to have a lie down!
