Canadian LAV III

Hi guys,

i present here my new project. that´s a Canadian LAV III from Trumpeter with a uprade No. PE35398 from voyager, verlinden LAV-Stowage and a dozer from an other Stryker. The pieces for the frontpanel have i order by Faller, the importeur for trumpeter here in germany. I start the building at january 7th and the next three weeks. Report and pic´s from the build comes when i come back home. But befor i go, i finished the M1129.

The PE´s from Voager are more fine and very detailed. The pieces from Verlinden are clean, without holes or bubbles. This is that what i want to do in the next 3 weeks after finished the Mortar. I hope the time is enough for this project.

I´ve forget the dozer!! The dozer is from the M1132. I had to decide dozer or mine plow. I take the mine plow on the stryker, it looks more great!!




The front panel become i from the Trupeter-dealer here in germany!!

O.k., I'm looking forward to your LAV!! Who it´s faster??? when I'm ready in the 3 weeks is good, when not i make at home finish. It´s for the long time after the programm in the klinik.

very cool oliver, keen to see how this goes as i have a LAVIII to do in kiwi format. This also has the dozer blade attachment. (see below)

The NZ ones were deployed to afghanistan to assist the PRT (Provincial Recontsruction Team) and use the shortened dozer blade like the one shown in your pics.

Moin Moin all,

i decided me about the dozer. I don´t build them. A conversion-kit i´ve not found and i´m not scratch builder, not so much or good. Maybe when i come back home i try to build this dozer by self, i don´t know. Because the front panel it´s complete other thats looks like the stryker.

I will never build one... but I'll be watching yours. Did you say which scheme you are doing? If you did I hope you said the UN version

I don´t know, UN or not. Both look´s good and i like vehicles in UN Look. I have one Stryker in desert yellow, one in nato green, white, why not!!?? I don´t know, that´s not a stryker, it´s a canadian LAV. Maybe i make him white!!??

Lot of fun, that´s what i need when i build a model!! I´m looking for more what i can build with and or on the LAV!! Thats not enough!! I think of a slat, but i don´t know wich Stryker looks the LAV. i don´t want sell the wrong slat.

Hi guys,

the build from the LAV is going forward!! More than more, every dav a little bit. I can´t send pic´s from the build, the pc here is the last s*** on earth!!! But when i´m home .............!!

The PE´s from Voyager are the first and the last. Next time i sell the updates from eduard. that´s more expensive but it´s more easyer to build. The details from voyager are more fine, but the build too.

maybe i come home in 3 -4 weeks ind i hope the LAV is ready until.

One detail i want tell you!! i make him white!!!!

good wishes from here!! The weather is perfect for building a LAV-III. Yesterday i think you finished there not here but the building is ready. Paint and stowage i make next week, bevor i drive at home on February 2. Much more work, much more report, much more pics and much more fun!! This is the result of the last 3 weeks. Whem i´m home i make the report ready for here!!

Moin Moin Guys,

i´m back at home and my LAV is not finished, of corse!! The time was not enough but it´s not so much to bring it to the end!!^^

The PE´s from voygaer are good and more fine. The carpet was a monstercarpet!! He stand up from earth and snitched many small pieces from the table!!!

Hi guys

oh yes, the PE´s look very nice when it´s ready. But the way to the following pic´s was not so easy. The toolboxes was a part what bring my ego on the rest of time.The loops to tighten the stowage are so small, unbelivable!!!! 2mm long and 0,2 mm wide!! The bolts was diameter 1mm and from this i have 257!!!!! I make new pics in an other light, look here!!











For beending miss not more but bevor i can bring it on the LAV i musst build the pieces. The stowage is not fixed, is only for looking when the little boy is ready. But, i´ve build them with the dozer from the stryker!!! I have long wondered, build them with this dozer or not, and, i build it!! It looks great with this big fat dozer. The original looks a little bit small, filigree, tiny!!!!

But i don´t now, what for a look i paint. UN-whithe or green!!?? The pic´s from trumpeter are not so fine printed, you can see every pixel, not so fine. The decals are good.I tend to the UN version!!!
