yeah poor IV.
The add on plate had cut outs / nothced for the tow brackets.. the same for the glacis/ armor plate in front of the driver/RO...the vertical plate.

ifound a larger version of the panzer 4 and you can see the extra armour plate with cutouts for tow hooks in it laying in front of tank , you are absolutly correct Rob

other picture of exploded 222 must have been recovery team as you can see they have removed the 2cm gun

my wife actually freaked out when i said would build this , she kept saying "i will not have a tank in our garage!" so being she is a big doctor laura of radio fame fan i said call doctor laura and lets let her call the shot . she did and on live radio doctor laura said "does he work? is a good husband? and then whats the differance between this and rebuilding an old car or tractor like all other husbands ..........oh ya i was in like flint ,and she quite listening to doctor laura

looks like an antitank round hit from the front left and detonated inside vehicle , the armour was only designed to stop full rifle cliber armoured piercing rounds
