"And for now I have a litlle problem and I hope you can help me on that? This hetzer is a Mid version (I think) the idlers doint have six holes. The question is, are there two hatches on the engine deck? I have seen some pictures that have them and others doint" --------------------------------------------------------------------
As they made changes to the tank "on the fly", and used older components until stock ran out, many were built using a mix of them. Looking it over this kit would represent something probably put out before Dec of 1944. It does have the early idlers and road wheels (the 6 hole idlers and 16 rivet roadwheels were both introduced in Dec.). The exhaust went vertical also in Dec.. The mantlet that came with the kit was also the earliest style, though you modified it to the mid one). The doors on the engine deck that you asked about were a late change, so not having them keeps with the pattern.
You've done an excellent job so far. Like other people have already mentioned, this kit would have quickly found itself sitting back on the shelf. Articulating the tracks like you did would have driven me crazy! Can't wait to see the paint.

Solly no RC for me to dangerues ;D no its also a full resin kit and I place the build here when I started.
Thnx for the info Afvfan, but in that case I could not use a Ambush scheme on it because that was used after dec `44 I thought?

The paint is no problem. Units were issued paint paste, so it's very conceivable that an ambush scheme could have been added later in the field.

Ron, the only thing you have to worry about is the beginning dates the colors were issued (which you say you have found). Once those paints were issued to the units in the field many units did not control how they were put on. That led to many variations of the "official" schemes, and some that were quite "unofficial". Another thing about the field applications is that there were times spray equipment was not available and the paints were applied with anything handy... mops, brushes, rags, even bare hands.

The first layer off paint is done ;D I`m thinking now to paint a two or three tone scheme instead off the Ambush Sorry for the bad pictures but I think that the Maya calender did work, but only for my camera Got a mail last week from Bleu Star that they made a new master for the upperhull and lowerhull and they were used in there late Hetzer kit for this moment. Here are some pictures from the casting and looks verry good to me and made life easyer when building the kit, allway`s good to see that manufactures still trying to made ther products better. Pictures from the test shot And this for everybody and ther family,

The first color off the camo is painted today. It was not a easy job to airbrush the green color because the airbrush constand clogged no matter what I did. I doint now iff the color that I used from Vallejo give this problems normally I doint have troubles with Vallejo.

Adding the brown really brings this one alive Ron, going to look really cool once you've got it all pulled together.
