Looks fantastic Guy! I'm building one of these right now too, as a quick and easy break from other stuff. Man what a sweet kit! The fit is perfect, really enjoyable build.
Looking forward to more mate! Cheers! JT

Gary, the hull's got an oil paint wash on now, it's coming together a bit already. Thanks !
ER, sometimes building such an easy kit is good for me, so I can focus more on painting and weathering. Thanks !
johnt ! Glad to hear from you fella, did I miss your running projects or did you build in a time out ? The kit is a stunner imho. I look forward to see your BT-7 !

Thank you guys ! I have a new update for you, after applying several oil paint washes and also AK products. Still a lot to do, but slowly it's gowing. Best regards, AG.

Very nice 'tired' look you've achieved there Guy, good stuff.

Thanks Luigi !
prof, thanks, the 'tired' look is exactly what I try to achieve, these tanks had very hard times, in a couple of months more than 2000 BT-7s were destroyed by the German army.

WOW! You are definitely on roll! It is really looking great! I like how you hold the model using long bolt?

Andy I'm glad you like it so far. This is the first time I hold my model with a long bolt, put in a hole I drilled in the lower hull part and secured. Later I can easily remove the thing and I don't risk my model by damaging paint layers or causing greasy spots that have to be redone.

One of favorites, looks great, youre doing it proud mate. I scratched one of these years ago and didn't finish it cos I couldn't make the tracks. Its another shelf queen, about thirty years a queen I think!
Can't see me painting it though plastic card that old gets a nice patinaLOL

Hi Dicky, I must admit I feel so much better now, sharing more spare time with the family. I spend less time in my hobby room and still I'm more 'productive'. I quit focussing on frustrating issues during a build/painting progress and enjoy all the fun a kit offers me. If something does go not that well I stop and try again the next day. That's the way to go for me. I'm still so glad I built in this time out last year during the summer and I'm even more glad now I went for a restart with a brand new attitude. It's nice to read you still find my work of the highest quality, even without tons of photo etched fiddly stuff on it. My next tank will be a cheap Hetzer, again without after market products (except for Friul tracks).
legend, can you make one pic of it, this must have been difficult to scratch ? Is it in scale 1:35 ?

Hi guys, I'm finishing the wheels at this moment and this is how it looks now : - satin black base coat, - satin base green in two tones, - hair spray, - white (water thinned), - rub rub rub... - satin varnish, - wash of Winter streaking grime/raw umber oil paint, - grease stain mixture (Mig), darkened with Raw umber. Tomorrow the wheel rubber story, the chain, ... Best regards, AG.

snipersmudge, thanks !
bill, that is one beauty of a BT-7 scratch project, won't you try to make masters (two different links) and cast them ? It would be worth the effort.
luigi, thanks !
Dicky, today the final touch of the roundy bits bro !
Mike, sometimes it's hard to pick a new kit I know the feeling. However, a 38 (T) is a good model for creative painting and weathering too. Thanks !
Gary, a queen...mmm nice ! That's a BIG compliment bro !
Carl, now you make me consider to change my nickname from 'Armorguy' to just 'Guy', because my name isn't Mark (in that case it would have been 'Armormark' LOL !!!). Anyway, I'd like to see this Mark's models... ;D What you wrote on weathering models is right and it's the main reason why I build models. Thanks for your reply, as a Belgian builder it's great to be here bud !
