Good start ditch the missles and go with the HAD, when trumpeter took measurements they were of pratice missles so they are wrong, you also get the correct stensils and the cable cutters and tool boxes missing from the kit. or if you are building for transport leave the missles off. I know the guy who designed the ne set and he is an expert on Hungarian AA Systems. I hope this helps JD

Sorry new here and could not find edit button, but here is some more info the SA-6 upgrade set comes with 3 of the 3M9ME, or 3M9M3 versions with stencils for 3 missiles also Immobility rack parts and launch pad Boxes. this is a resin kit the designer goes buy the name of juge75 and he is on another large model site. I have nothing to do with HAD , HungAeroDecals I just like the product, there is another set from SP Designs, but I do not think they come with decals. There is a big difference between the Trumpeter and the aftermarket sets. JD

JD - thanks for the info.. I wont have to worry about the missles this round but plan another build of this kit in the future, so all the info gathered now for aftermarket items is greatly appreciated. Welcome to MSC by the way Bob

74 hours this week....Mother Of Mercy! WoooHooo...I had bench time this weekend, and beer and more bench time and some more beer So I got the main tub primed and pre-shaded and was able to completed the launcher rack as well (primed and pre-shaeded as well). About a week ago I ordered some Vallejo primers. I have many Vallejo paints but nothing in there primer range. I hit the kit with the grey primer and was most impressed with the finish. I will say it took some fiddling with the air pressure to get it just right but with that worked out the primer goes on like silk. I pre shaded with XF-1 and she is ready for some green: Should have the first coat of green on the tub this evening. Tracks are beginning to be a headache but hammering through them. Bob
