Thanks Rob Well i've read the best way to get paint to hold on DS material is to use auto primer so I went outside to spray them because that stuff really stinks. Right now it's 44 and chilly so I didn't waste no time doing it. Later Tony lee

Whoa! It has camo on!!! Looking good! Will you do second coat or not? In some way it looks like faded camo in my opinion and always look great after dark washes.

Leon if you need glue i've got a stash bottle if you need it. Andy I sprayed the left side but that was a bunch of trouble masking it off so I decided to hand paint the rest. The black melted through to the brown and the more I worked with it the worse it got. My intention was to go back and fill in the black more with a small airbrush but thought it did appear to look worn and faded. That's what i'm asking about, Leave it worn looking or fill in the black more? I have no problem with either way. Tony lee

LOL! Tell you the truth I am leaning toward to worn look... after dark washes they will look great. Again its my opinion... Sex-toy is yours and I will be happy whatever you decide to do with it. Oops, did I misspell?

As it stands right now more are of the opinion that a very thin coat of black would take the starkness out of the brush marks and make it look more like subtle wear or fade, we'll know by morning.
Thank you my friend Tony lee

Thank you my friend Tony lee Hey Tony, Looking past the brown bleed through, the camo pattern is pretty darn sweet IMO. Im on the side of a touch job with the AB or another pass with the brush to take out the starkness. I know when the dust settles your gonna have a sweet SEXton in your hands! Gary

All the pics I've seen of the black/desert yellow camo I've seen show an unevenly faded black paint. So your paintjob resembles very closely the real thing, in my opinion. Filters and dirt will blend everything making it even better

Too late Bull, With the critique over many sites the majority suggested I mute the brush stroke so I did. Not being as steady as I once was I got as close to the edges as I dared but still got a little over spray but i'm thinking the weathering will help that. Is everyone happy now? I split the difference Honest Opinions Welcome Tony lee

I like it, but I think the previous version was closer This time the borders look faded and the middle of the "clouds" looks dark. This pic: shwos what I mean, the borders tended to stay darker while the inside faded...

I think v2's going to provide you with a much more solid base to work from Tony. This way you can add/adjust with the weathering process without worry instead of the other way around.
