To all the New England members be safe during this up coming NorEaster. It's gonna be another bad one....like that little one we had in the 70's. I'll be filling my gas cans and getting the snow blower ready. If we don't lose power, then I will be at the bench.

Hey Rob you beat to the punch!  Thanks everyone! I got gas filled, snowblower ready, pellet stove full, and lots of kits to work on! All my other New Englanders stay safe, warm and have lots of hot chocolate! Just for the hack of it anyone for a blizzard build?! LOL!! Pete |

northeast has had its share this season. stay safe all. hopefully it will be like the last couple of storms this direction. alot of talk and no percipitation.

First fellas...be safe!!! I had gas for the snow blower..no issues there!! Plenty of food and in case I am wrong and the end of the world is actually coming tomorrow I know where all my guns are so the White Washed Zombies will take a beating!!! So just waiting for the word from work about letting us out early tomorrow or not...other than that...bench time!! "blizzard build" Pete? LOL sounds neat!! OK off to two more B-ball games!! I think we are definately going to get some of what you New England folks are getting. Not only snow and ice pellets but wind gusts up to 100km. Oh well, it's all good as long as the power holds out and I don't break my back shoveling. Good day for modeling. |

It's really coming down now, and the wind picked up to about 30mph. Will be going up to 50mph tonight through the am.

Tie down the Scope Boss and let the cat in!! You will be getting the 60 to 80 MPH winds tonight..sounds like wet heavy stuff for you too! We might get 30+ inches up here but it should be the fluffy white stuff!! All the others,,,you know who you are, be safe my friends!! If you a true New Englander's, this is just another Nor'Eastah for ya! If you not from here and have never gone through one....don't worry it will be OK!! Put down the 600 pack of toilet paper and for heaven's sake, if your doing 70MPH on the highway, shut off the 4-wheel drive it will not help you stay on the road!!!  |

Got about 12-14" last night,not too bad,still have power.Good to be home from work this weekend.Gonna have a nice breakfast,do some shoveling,then some bench time.
Hope all did okay,especially you New Englanders.
Suppose to be in the 40's so this stuff won't last,bring on spring

Well it's still snowing down here. Not as bad and not the wet stuff anymore. Hard to tell how much we got so far because of the drifts. Some areas around the house looks to be over a foot...and other places 3-4 feet. The snow blower is gonna be fightin this one.
The dogs barely could walk in the yard to do there thing. Funny watching them lift one leg to wizz....the snow isabove there stomachs lol

Yeah just went for a smoke on the patio...had to shovel a spot for that. Got a large tree limb on the garage, small ones in the yard and a big one in the drive way. Gonna have another cup of coffee, a smoke and then get the blower out of the garage....if I can there. Will take some pics before that.

First pics of the snow for Andy. The wind tore the tarps from around the patio. It's dark due to over a foot of snow on the clear corrogated plastic roof.  Branch in the driveway has to go first before I snow blow it.  Large tree limb on the garage.  |

Leon, don't know yet. The tree is from the neighbor in the back there, so if there is damaged they pay for a new roof...which it needed ..lol. I'll get them to clear that tree. It's still very windy and the tree limbs are sagging. This means more will come down, but hopefully not on the power lines.
Boo it's up to my knees, and above in some spots. Yeah we used to get this kind of snow all the time when I was a kid, used to love it. Nieghbors kids are in the yard playing...so yeah great for kids but not for me . I used to make money shoveling snow for people when I was younger and made a killing in the Blizzard of 78.

Wazzup? All is well fellas, kicking back having some coffee waiting for the all inevitable shovel fest!! Never lost power...still snowing pretty good outside but the wind died down. Guessing we pushed the 24 inch mark so far. Tough as there are drifts but the back yard usually gives me a good indicator....to friggin' lazy to want to go out yet! The dog is having fun....she is shorter than it so dives up and out and then back in again...ahhh, to be a young pup again!! Hope all is well with the rest of you in the path!! |

Just trying to Psyche myself up for going out there and cleaning up!! Not as fun as it used to be when we were kids!! I have to daughters lying around on the couch today....might be time to gather the troops !!! LOL!!!
