Carl, they are a breeze to work with, cut the rivet from the decal paper, place it in position, then put a drop of decal setting solution on it. The decal film will disapear under a coat of paint.

Man that sucks! I was already to see some pics...don't take Andy's advice though, everyone knows the 'hit any key to continue' trick doesn't work anymore! Show it a pic of Gary's Kiltutu though and that's a different story...

Bill , I don't listen to Andy .....he cant hear me and I don't listen to him . Ok , patience rewarded and no hammers involved . I had to use my wife's pc to get these uploaded . Remember when I sanded off the rivets ? Big John suggested Archer rivets but I'm waiting to order them . In the mean time I did this . I drilled micro holes and inserted stretched sprue . After careful sanding the results came out reasonably well . So ........with that accomplished I went ahead and bent some pe . Wow ! I need one of those pe tools that Big John told me about ! I got the roof vents bent properly but it was a hassle ! I needed three hands to get these done .........actually it feels like I already have 3 thumbs sometimes Then I moved onto the hood . The Eduard pe set comes with a nice hood side replacement that has the slits for the louvers etched in the steel . To get the raised shape a ball point pen is run on the inside of the piece to push the louvers out . It worked well surprisingly . The molded plastic louvers on the kit part have to be sanded off . I painted that area dark gray in case it will be seen thru the new louvers . The new louvers look real good on the model . And this is the hood assembly stuck on the chassis . Was it worth the wait guys ? Hope so . Bill , those coffee filters sure have helped with the finished look of my pics . I'm using just a little exposure editing .....nothing like I had to do before . Thanks for the patience my friends .
