Great build here Robbo , you have those decals sitting just right! I would be inclined to go with black for the tracks but Im probably wrong lol.

I wanted the black rubbers to stand out from the track so I need a dark grey? Glad you like it Mate, I've certainly enjoyed building it

I'm assuming that any non-rubber portions would be unpainted steel, so would paint accordingly (oxidized of course, not shiny!) unless someone more knowledgeable on modern gear chimes in.

Excellent job, Ian. For the tracks I'd go with a darkened base, as you're depicting an operational tank.

Very nice! As far as the tracks and wheels go I agree with Bill, I really don't think those things change. But I could be wrong.

Ian,the tracks would be like Bill has already said, although the roadwheel contact areas would be pretty shiny,as would the contact areas on the sprockets. For info, the tracks, when supplied new on the pallets, are covered in a black preservation paint, which wears off a lot quicker when driving on sand, than on the road.

Anyone wondering what happened to this one ? Well it very nearly ended up in the bin. Having spent over fifty quid doing this one I thought I'd rather save it instead so the fix up has started photos soon

Soon Luigi mate.
Started with adding a track link to each side to increase the length to 72 links per side as when they were glued it tightened them up quiet a bit, something to remember for the next time I use Fruils, glue as you build instead of at the end.
