I had forgotten how this one looked Steve. The rust is perfect for a fresh brew. Can't tell in the pics but some black pigs for the soot is about all that she needs and you can call her done. Well and some weathering on the green end maybe....dust and dirt type stuff

Steve and Rob...........these look splendid ;D, love the way you have gone with this Steve, very convincing look indeed........Rob, love the way the turret is progressing and glad too see you guys back in action ;D Very brief update myself................mojo loss and my bad back is back with a vengence so progress has been somewhat non-existant just lately and for that i appologise..... Anyway a couple of shots of the Raider as she stands at the mo............i`m a fair bit out of my depth on these wingies so i`m making the best of a tough job for me The wings are dry fitted, sprayed and some wing decs added.............i`ve got the landing bay doors done but i just need to get the inner panels sprayed white and then i can fix the whole lot together and crack on with the landing gear itself.................not much i know but it`s the best i can manage at the mo fellas!! Also the dive brakes are done but also need the white inner panels done as well...... Thanks for being patient chaps.....

Slowly but surely this thing moves toward the finish line - which is this Sunday at ValleyCon. The base- Celluclay, cat litter, plaster of paris, some drywall scraps and one of the first casts of a new Celticwerks product. Korean Factory wall... Sculpted by my buddy Frerik Noordhuis! A close up of the wall with gray primer The tank on the base The tank photographed from an angle that approximates the original inspiration pic. This will need some tweaking yet but it will get there- I cannot do figures at all- So I commissioned a couple. This pair are from the Dragon Pusan Perimeter 1950 set. Completely re-sculpted, and painted by my friend Vinnie Branigan. I love these and I will be using some others in the future! Getting there! Steve

Just caught this update Steve. man the figs do look good. Frerik has done another awesome job sculpting the wall. Can't wait to see this on Sunday. With this and T's jobs there will be some very cool models at the show. I'll have mine on the AK table and not in the contest.

Hey Rob- I won't be entering this either. I will have it on my table to show off the wall section. Can't really compete with it without a ruling from the Chief Judge because of Vinnies figures. If the judges know to ONLY judge the tank then I would enter it. But that is a call for the Chief Judge to make. Eventually I will also convert the T-34/85 to a T-34T using my conversion set. It will still be burnt up though. It will spend its life on my vendor table promoting the Korean Factory Wall section kit, the T-34T and my T-34 detailing bits. Steve

You could enter in the armor cat Steve. They will only judge the tank its self. Just be sure to note it on the entry form. Will be just as good on the CW to promote the wall.

Fellas I've put an end date to this after nearly 9 months. There are other GB we all want to take part in as well. The KGB will end on MAY 1st. You can still finish off your entry and add it later. All GB's will have to now have start and end dates now that we have more members than in the old forum.
