This is just too weird...no I see T's pics/update pop up and a couple of hours ago they didn't ? I only remarked an update of Rob and responded to it !
T mate, sorry ! You set a very high standard, really amazing how skilled you finished this base, the running water is nothing but a big WOOOOW !!! The trees with only a couple of leaves left are a nice touch and they look realistic. The Stug is also looking fantastic, and man...the sand is just stunning ! Defo one of my favorite dioramas of '13 !
GEEZ, T!!!! If that doesn't take "Best of Show" in any one you care to enter it in, something is seriously amiss! I can't add to what everyone else has already said, so I'll just leave it at "Fantastic job!".
Thank Boyd!! Pretty cool seeing the two unfold...same kit, different builders one new, one old!!! Neat concept I thought! Still planning on maybe setting up a special board just for duels!! Gary and Phil...already have a nice one going and I know the Boss and I will have at one again soon!! More of these with different MSCer's would be great!!!
Hey T that's a splendid looking dio ! The idea and the finale presentation leave no doubts about what a pain getting this thing out of the hole is going to be ! That water coming out of the hose is most convincing !
Thank you very much Carl!! I was fairly happy with the "hose thing" and the way it came out. A lot of fun trying this out too!! I am hoping to play with more water in the future!
Great work all round!
I can never see too many StuG's - particularly the III's!
Lovely, inventive modelling all round guys. Excellent work fellas
TRM - I too want to try this Scenic Water stuff. Even if it's just to make a simple puddle on a base to begin with - what's it like to use?
I got Canforna's excellent 'On Display Vol 2 Stug III' book for Christmas and am inspired! I have Dragons recently released StuG III G with Zim in the stash which I'm looking forward to tackling but one of the book contributors builds Tamiya's older StuG III B in a distressed whitewash finish and I just knew - I HAD to build that kit (again)! I built it when I first started out and definately want another crack at it now! Lovely kit!
