Hello Gentlemen, Im taking a break from another project to have some fun with me old pal Pierre. This is my first Figure Bust and the largest scale figure to date. Gonna give him a bit of a trim and sanding here and there but its a nice, clean piece of resin. This will be fun for me....just got to nail those eyes.  Im scerd! Have an update fellas, I wussed out on the face painting today and decided to do some work on the Pack, Bed roll and wood. Everything is base coated but im finished with the bed roll and Pack. Wood has base and a highlight color and ill paint the axe handle last. Anyhoo, heres what i got.   More tomorrow. Gary |

Hey Gary, this bust is a nice one to do besides your armor projects. It looks like it's well molded.Are you using acrylics only ? And do you spray them first layers on by airbrush ?

AG, Bill, thanks fellas! On the bed roll, i base coated with Vallejo then Airbrushed the light blue highlights then dry brushed. The rest is all brush painted. Ok Gents, I practiced the eyes on some cardboard till i felt i could give it a go on Pierre. It took 2 tries to get where it is now and im not touchin it again....eyes DONE! Ive paitned the face highlights. 1st Highlight  2nd  3rd  4th  Next ill start some shadows which is hard for me so wish me luck! Thanks Guys, Gary |
