I managed to get the interior of the cab base coated last night. It looks green right now. I should be getting the weathering and detail painting in tonight and tomorrow.

Bill, I don't think you have to hope for more snow and cold. It's already here.

Hello everybody.  Mother nature didn't disappoint with the cold and snow.  We are below zero with about 4 more inches of snow.  
As hoped, I did get some more paint on the cab interior.  As promised, here is a picture.  I have a few more details to put in (like an issue of Pravda), but it should be basically buttoned up very soon.

Thank you Leon, Bill, and Luigi. I have to say I am happy with the results so far. By the way, the comrades will also have the proper liquid refreshment too. I have a vodka bottle label in scale.

Hello everybody.  While I have been waiting for paint to dry on the cab, I have been making pretty good progress on a few other assemblies.  The wheel rim is pretty much ready for mold making.  I have also been making progress on the bed and mount for the launcher.
Again, I thank all of you for your help and support.

My unimat got a pretty good workout on the rim.  I keep looking at the parts I have made and keep asking: WHY am I doing this?

Some outstanding work, keep it up.  I have run into something that is slowing my building down to a stand still so it may seem I am missing something but Ill try to keep up.  A friend who knows I build models sent a scratch builder link to me that you may like to see below.

It has been cold and snowing again, so I am managing to get some more detail work in. There's not much visible, but I hope to have that changed in a few day.

Hello again everybody.  I'm still doing a bunch of detail work on the rails and cab.  This morning, I dry fitted all of the main assemblies to the frame.  Amazingly, they all fit!!
I have also started really working on the launcher (pictures soon).

I really appreciate that Luigi. I think I can see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. I don't think it's an oncoming train this time.  
It looks like we will be getting more snow this weekend, so it's off to the races on the actual launcher.
