Who's done them?? I know Ken and Iain have done them and I have yet to do one. I know they are pretty cool, and quick to build and paint. They look like fun. I will be checking into getting one myself soon. Over on the AK weathering forum there is a fella from the UK who has been painting them up and they look fantastic. I will try to get some pics up on here soon to show those who haven't heard of them yet, what they look like.

Rob- I have never done one- but I have seen Iain Hamilton and Ken Abrams efforts and they are beautiful items.
I think they fill a real niche - the guys who favor painting over construction, or just want to test out a new paint technique without risking a model they have a ton of hours in.
I know that my shot at the genre- the E-25 "sinkie- has been a huge seller. You will be seeing many more of these in the future.

These are the Celticwerks Sinkies. I used this one at a demo a few months back ?! There are some half wheels, mantlet and barrel that are not mounted on this one. It measures roughly 10x13 cm

Wow Rob, That looks pretty cool. That would look good surrounded by earth and weeds where it looks like it would have been half buried and sat for 50 years.

You know how city workers will sometimes excavate a big pit when a pipe ruptures? I was going to have one of these sticking out of the ground with a couple of construction workers looking at it. Hard hats and orange vests and call it, "Better call the Boss!" Steve

You will be seeing many more of these in the future. Steve Well, I have a few I've been working on a few for you on the side since we talked about it at your shop, so hopefully they will be cast-able and you can start a line up of 'wedgies' on your website.

Im loving Darius Miniatures ! Im in to these wedgies ! Blackdog also now make them... Both available in the UK from Firefly Models.
Im a slow painter, but these you can paint armour, groundwork and figures in a short space of time. I like to portray a story in them,Not easy in such a small area though.
