Ha! They are fine on a long run Dupes but on the main roads or on the country lanes it's nice to have a punchy motor, drop it a gear when YOU want to and floor it! Can't really do that these day's with the state of the roads and bloody speed cameras everywhere now though - England is turning into Orwell's 1984 when it comes to cameras now Oh erm sorry - the build. Mighty tidy interior Andy! I bet you had so much fun doing them decals Great job dude! Ben

Looking good Andy! A note on the Archer transfers, you can buy decal paper from Archer, rub the transfer onto it and apply it like a regular water slide decal. That might help for the future when you need to get into tight areas.

Tanker- Thanks buddy! I figured paint didn't stay on plywood that long... planning to do heavy chipping on the floor.
Ben- Decals are not exactly my favorite part. LOL Thanks mate!
Leon- Thanks Wizard... wish I could have used your magic to make decals work better.
Carl- Loved the image... I had to add it to my signature... sorry if I didn't you for permission. Figured you'd be cool about that and your karma went up one. LOL Thanks my friend!
BigJohn- DAMN! Now I know what's that piece of white paper. Maybe that was what I was supposed to use? I completely forgot about the 'wet' procedure. Guess I will come over tomorrow so you can show me how to do that. OK buddy? LOL Thanks for tagging long!

Nice work on the placards and other bits Andy. Wet-work is the way to go for sure on those tight spaces, definitely something for you to look into as the Archer stuff is very nice for this sort of thing.

Carl- LOL Thanks buddy!
Ben- If you want more karma, spend more time here! I think I spent way too much time here but like I said it my only home. LOL
Dan- True... better than blank dashboard. Still learning how to use Archer stuff. For sure Itateri totally missed this one. Thanks for dropping by!
Bill- Definitely that's something I want to try next time... I remember now seeing video clips at Archer website how to do the wet method.
Doubt there will be an update... of course its big game night and I am hosting small party here. You all are invited! LOL
Go Broncos of course!

Carl- Where were you? I was at the airport... dropped my wife off to be in New Orlenas and hoped you were there. No luck! Picked up my wife today and you were still not there. SIGH! When are you coming? LOL Gary- Yep no more goofing around. Really need to finish it by March 15th. Earlier the better so I can do other small stuff for the show. LOL The pressure... Thanks bro! Dicky- Thanks for the tip! Not kidding about my duck... thanks to you my mojo has been restored but schedule has been busy! Damn it... Luigi- It was one ugly game. Broncos are still great team... they didn't show up that day. Their loss... anyway update on the bike coming up! Thanks! Deano- Wait a minute! You were not here when I started it a year ago. LOL But hell I am happy to have you here... LOL Dave- Thanks buddy!!! Bob- Appreciate it... thanks man!

Guys- My wife was gone for few days visiting her sis in New Orleans. I was hoping for lots of bench time but nope... busy being Mr. Mom and I loved it! Took boys to see the movie Monuments Men and it was great. You should see it too... now the wife is back home but she's sick with stomach virus or something like that. Poor her... maybe she won't admit she's just hung over? Finally had bench time tonight... update on the bike. Dark washing and weathering is next. I think it will be a great addition to the stowage because everything is dull with green and brown.

Well at least now you have alternate transportation if gas prices get much higher And I think you're right, it will be a nice contrast with the rest of the stuff. Looks sharp Dude.

It looks good Andy, nothing serious wrong with the decals, don't forget this pic shows bigger than 1/35 scale. Some wood chipping will make it look perfect ! Comment on the bike : bloody showoff !

Luigi- Thanks buddy... can't wait later today. Tanker- That's what I thought... figured they are not allowed to drive up in DUKW to get some French wine. Thanks Jeff! Leon- Thanks wizard... going to do something about the chains as it looks too shiny and light. Dan- Thanks mate... would some bottles of Frenchy wine be considered groceries? LOL Guy- Bloody showoff? Have you lost your mind? Its nothing compared to your barn! LOL Funny thing I thought about you last night while working on it... maybe a rusty old bike would be a nice addition to Guy's barn? Thanks my friend!

I still think it needs a bell on the handlebars...otherwise how would you know it was coming down the DUKW?

I still think it needs a bell on the handlebars...otherwise how would you know it was coming down the DUKW? Bill, hope you like it better now? Bell scratch built using white stuff... it pays to follow Dicky's builds here and there! LOL Bike had been weathered... its officially done and it has been FUN! I understand why Guy enjoys doing his barn build. Its time to focus on the DUKW now... Sorry for being slow... my oldest son wanted to do a miniature on War of 1812 for his school project. It made my day when he asked me... we have been working on his project for last 4-5 nights. Almost one... its due on Tuesday so we are good. Thanks for looking my friends!
