That is just outstanding Andy. Spend as much time as you can with the Boy, before you know it, it will be "Dad, can I have the keys to the Car?"

Dicky- I know what you meant earlier... was sick with stomach virus so must have mistyped. Starting to feel better now but no bench time tonight for sure.
Deano- Thanks! It is done tonight just in time when its due tomorrow... he is very happy so am I! I learned couple of things working on his project... I am not really a fan of celluclay and I used Verlinden grass which was OK.
Tanker- Car keys? You are scaring me... in two years he will be asking. But you are so right... thanks for the nice words!

Ken- Missed you by a minute. No worries at least the bike is going inside the DUKW hopefully you will like what I am going to do about it. Always great hearing from you as I wondered about you not long time ago.
Will take final pics of the diorama tonight.

Stunning bike Andy. Did you get the chain lube to scale as well. I especially like the rack on it. Yeah….I'm a rack kinda guy. Dave

Ok, I can rest easy now that the bike has its bell. Must maintain certain standards around here sir! Nice work on the 1812 figures, hope it sparks more interest...just not in your stash!

Gary- LOL! Hope he will still have the juice as he has about three or four unfinished builds sitting not far from my work bench.
Leon- LOLOLOL I thought maybe you liked the name 'Lion'. That would make you the king of the jungle, correct? Glad you liked his work... hope he does it again.
Dave- Chain lube? I tried but they were one or two scales too big. No kidding I am a big rack kinda guy too! LOL
Bill- Anything to make you happy my friend! Unfortunately those bike bells never worked well for me... you are not going to like this. After helping him do War of 1812 figures, I think I want to give a shot at one of those resin figures... maybe Napoleonic War too. LOL Always liked how colorful their uniforms were... LOL

Now my son's school project is done and the bike is done too... its back to the duck when I am feeling better. Need your opinion... OR Hanging in the rear may be not realistically or historically correct if they drive in and out of water often.

For what it's worth, I think the bike should be in the cargo area too. If you can, maybe jammed down in between the stowage somehow so it sticks up a little and can be seen from the side? Across the back? Or in that little space behind the driver?

I agree with Jeff, the perfect place would be that space behind the driving compartment. Anyhoo, great job and congrats to your son, he's a promising modeler

Guys- Thanks! I knew I could count on you... for sure it will not be outside on the rear. I thought about the space right behind the driver but that's where I plan to put one of the figures standing in there but I really like your suggestions so I will have to figure this one out how to collaborate the figures and bike in the same space.
Thanks for nice words about my son's work... I did help just little such as touch up paint job. LOL

Thank you again! You better check the "What you got" thread... your fault again.

I'll add my vote to the back in the cargo area just so I can say "I agree with the others!" and still sound original while doing so. As for being tempted by the world of Napoleonic figures, I don't blame you. Fascinating period of history and of course very colorful uniforms and equipment.

Bill- I agree. I have so much to learn about the history of Napoleonic Wars so I am going to check for books at local library. Maybe I will ask for a figure or bust from that era for birthday... The wife has officially banned me from buying more kits after she found out how much I spent over two months. LOL Boots- Thanks mate! Glad you liked the bike... it will go inside definitely. Knew I could count on you guys! I am proud of my son how well he did... hope he gets a good grade! Guys- Sorry no update!!! There's one thing you SHOULD know about me. I LOVE the olympics... it is so addictive!
