Pete- Oops! Forgot to reply earlier... sorry about that! Glad you agreed with others too. Thanks buddy! Guys- Had a great weekend working on all figures... My Frenchy beach bunnies are finally complete! I admit it was not easy painting especially their eyes as they were not as sharp as I hoped. They were from Stalingrad and I paid about $45 for those... they should have done better job. Feet and fingers were heavily molded too... Horny US GIs are 98% complete... its official I love figures from Bodi. They were EASY to paint on especially their faces. I will not hesitate to buy more from that manufacturer Bodi aka Body. You can see that a pinkie finger is missing... dropped on floor against vinyl floor. Victory to that vinyl monster! And earlier I lost the shoulder gunholster for the sitting guy but found a good replacement from MiniArt US Tank crew. I have to say... this is my favorite so far. Love his devilish smile... Guess I have to crawl back to the DUKW and finish it now. LOL

I hope there isn't a vehicle out there called a WABBIT (gotta spell it different than RABBIT like DUKY/DUCK). I don't think I could take another 40 page thread with no WABBIT it's future

Luigi- Thanks for the poster... loved it!
Robbo-Thanks mate! Glad you liked 'em!
Baer- Far better than my old bike but it was a tough built Huffy if you can remember one from the 70's with long seat and high bars! I even had a flag post...glad you liked the bike too as it was more fun building it than the DUKW itself. LOL
Marc- OOPS! Looks like you missed the memo... those figures are going with the DUKW. I am firm believer in including figures to all builds and it is a perfect excuse for me to avoid that mojo killer DUKW for another week or two. LOL Hope you liked the figures too...

Great work on the figgy's Andy. To bad about the GI's finger, maybe you could put some kind of bandage over it? You know, have His hand wrapped up?

Then two guys sure have the eyes for the girls . They need some of those Googles for their goggling eyes like them soldiers over at your Chally . LOLOLOL! Thanks for the chuckle! I have been thinking... I am still not happy with the second figure. He reminds me one of the characters from Goonies. I think I will add a goggle to cover his ugly eyes as I have few unused clear googles that came with the kit. But will they fit? Wish me luck...

Nice to see the figures are progressing here Andy! First thought when I saw the missing finger was that something had to have happened while your DUKW flew south but wasn't sure exactly what. You've got to be more careful...we can't wait around forever for this one to get done or more bits might start disappearing!

Dicky- Thanks mate... yep found my way back to the pond despite the fact its still winter here in Indiana. Expecting another snow storm... 10-12 inches of snow on Sunday & Monday. LOL Tanker- LOL! I think I can fix it... if it doesn't work out then bandage sounds like a good back up plan. Thanks Jeff! Carl- HAHAHA! Damn glad those figures are far better than Chally's goonies! Added decal to the shoulder's patch... it looks even better now. Gary- You know how to crack me up! Absolutely you can have the brunette. I am saving for the dream girl somewhere in Germany when the duck gets to its final destination... thanks bro! Bill- Cheney probably shot his pinkie off when he went duck hunting, perhaps? LOL Not to be worried... big update coming up.

Guys- Guess who is back??!?! Did a lot for last two days... details painted, sprayed a coat of Future, applied decals, sprayed another coat of Future. Then threw on few coats of flat clear. And added bumpers too. LOVED those aftermarket bumpers. Worth every dollar... company is located in Canada. See the difference... Replace styrene with actual string for towage... That's the aftermarket company in case you are interested... two thumbs up for me! Not sure about this... added old tire as a bumper on the side. Thanks for looking!

LOL! Figured some of you would be jumping with joy... really doing my best to finish it by March 15th. Appreciate your support... you guys are just AWESOME! Leon- You will love those AM bumpers... now you know where to get them. The company makes bumpers for other amphibious vehicles too. Thanks my fav wizard! Luigi- Shocking news, huh??? LOL Definitely... I wish I had them soaked in a cup of tea or something. Maybe I can apply tea on it or just use one of AK products. Gonna figure this one out... for sure I am not leaving them that way. You know me!!! I am allergic to clean armors... LOL Guy- That duck must be related to the Goonie's character Sloth!!! Thanks my guy! Definitely will weatherize the bumpers. Maybe you can tell me the best way... was thinking AK but its oil based so not sure if its good idea. Maybe heavily thinned acrylic paint in sand, tan and brown, etc. Maybe I can apply tea on them... Jeff- Thanks buddy! Does it means you will fix me that breakfast sandwich too? Was going to post pic of my breakfast this morning but looks like Photobucket is down for maintenance... again! Joe-Thanks my friend... let me add the wheels then it will be ready to take water. Hoping for another good progress today before the party tonight.

Awesome seeing this come back to the bench Andy!! Looking mighty fine too! On the bumper, you are on the right path with the AK. Streaking grime, OEF Wash or similar, just don't shake up the bottle or dilute some with thinner first. Start light and darken at will. Could also add some grey tones with Engine Grime or light washes with a couple of variants of grey oils! Keep it going and get this off the bench!!
