Nice looking work, Andy! PE looks outstanding:). Did you paint it before affixing it? I notice that it's black. If so, how do you keep it from scratching?

Guys- Jeez, where did my weekend go? Was busy running two fundraiser events to raise money for four deaf kids to a deaf camp in Oregon. We managed to raise $1800... not bad! I am glad to inform you all that I will not be working on weekends for a long time so my bench time will return to its schedule. Bill- It rained but only when I was at work! HA! The wife made me work on the yard today... that's what she wanted to do for her special day. She loves yard work... John- SOON! I can't wait... maybe one or two more nights of building then it is READY! Tony- LOL! Thanks uncle... you sure know how to make me chuckle!  G- Paintpaintpaintpaint! Love the sound of it despite my deafness... LOL You better listen to our friend Dicky... Dicky- No rush but it will happen this week or this weekend for sure! WHY? Boys and the wife will be gone for two days... Boys Scout thing... can't wait... just me and the dogs. Gary- You will know when you feel an instant chill breeze inside your kiltutu... you will know for sure!  Rob- Thanks boss! It has been fun... am thankful for my OCD thing but it sometimes doesn't help me when I take frequent breaks to clean the bench! Nate- Thanks buddy! Actually its very dark grey... Eduard PE sets are pretty dark unlike most brass PE sets. Carl- Thanks Cheetos!

I can see where I might be going wrong "frequent breaks to clean the bench!" are words I don't use very much could that be the difference?
Outstanding detail on the fuel cans, I can never get my straps to look that good.

Ben- Thanks mate! Bones- Thanks to my wife she's the expert as she knows how to keep me strapped to the bed. Oops! Too much info here... G- Hell yeah I am a clean freak! Accept it!!! LOL Here's what my bench looks right now... that duck has been quacking for days trying to get my attention.  Had to work over weekend... huge fundraising events took a toll on my body. Then Mother's Day... you know its the day when the world evolves around mothers! Had a great BBQ after all day of yard work as requested by the wife...  My wife received many small gifts and one of them was a little joke. I figured she will let me off the hook if I buy a kit that contains a dog because she LOVES dogs. My tactic worked...  Now I better order more busts with dogs... I think she will not cut my credit card or suspend my PayPal account.

A German Shepard, she looks more like the Beagle type to me. I do have to hand it to you I can see you really no how too be a kind and caring husband buying those sensitive gifts really show your soft side.

Bones- LOL! No kidding about the weather here in the midwest. It was only 55 with low 37 degree on Sunday for Mother's Day. Today high is 82!!! G- You hit the nail on the head regarding shorts and parka! Today I am wearing tube top! Maybe I shouldn't have said this... Luigi-  Boy I better get busy... LOL Mr T- Oh yes my wife LOVED the bust! Not... just a little joke between us and she laughed even tho. Thanks buddy! Nate- LOL You have met my wife already... it is a miracle that she can handle me! Carl- You missed it... she gave me many kisses when she opened the gift. Actually I got her Japanese Maple tree and it will be planted this weekend if weather permits.
